250°
190w ago - Irrational Games Creative Director Ken Levine has posted up some new video footage today from BioShock Infinite for the PlayStation 3 entertainment system!

To quote: Okay, we've teased you for long enough. We showed you a teaser on PlayStation's E3 stage.

We leaked out dribs and drabs of content over the past few weeks. Yeah, we're S.O.Bs. But we're S.O.Bs with an expiration date! And today's that date.

Here it is, a video of the full demonstration that we showed to the press at E3, all 15 minutes of it. We'd love to know what you think at our forums at www.irrationalgames.com.

Gran Turismo PSP Includes Lengthy Install - 900MB, 17 Minutes

200°
284w ago - Just before the weekend JustPushStart (linked above) tested out their review copy of SCEA's Gran Turismo for the Sony PSP.

One of the things they noticed is that it offers a data install to decrease load times, however, it was a considerable one in size.

To quote: "The data is 900MB and it took about 17 minutes to install.

If you get this game then I highly recommend installing the data, the load times without data install can be quite annoying.

The PS Store version shouldn't have that much of a problem since it will be saved on the memory stick."

Video: Bayonetta - The First 10 Minutes for PlayStation 3

300°
284w ago - Today gimmeGTD of GameTrailers have shared a new Bayonetta video which covers the first 10 minutes of the game.

According to Kotaku, Sega plans to region-lock the title which is quite unusual for a PS3 game indeed.

To quote: "Unsurprisingly, we were told that the Japanese version would not be region free, meaning that North American and European consoles won't play import copies. The reason? It would impact sales of the game outside of Japan, we were told.

That's not that uncommon for Japanese Xbox 360 releases. The vast majority of games released in Japan for Microsoft's box won't play on anything but Japanese consoles. But the PlayStation 3 version? The games are almost all (thankfully) region-free. Locking down that version would be an unusual move on Sega's part."

Below is a 10-minute sneak peek at the upcoming action title developed by Platinum Games. Bayonetta is set for European and North American release in January 2010 on Sony's PlayStation 3 and the Microsoft XBox 360 console.

How to Get 40 PlayStation 3 Trophies in 60 Minutes

200°
322w ago - For many of us, try as we might to feign indifference, there's a nagging desire that we secure at least a respectable number of Trophies. So for smarter, time-deprived gamers, we've devised this quick-fix guide to scoring a respectable 40 Trophies in around an hour. Onwards, with dignity!

Burnout Paradise
Time: 15 minutes | Number of Trophies: 7 | Trophy count: 7

And we're off. The pristine, sun-kissed streets of Paradise City is where our Trophy hunt begins and, although each metal mug is quite easy to collect on its own, it's a bit trickier to amass all seven in a tight fifteen minutes. Our advice? Check your map regularly.

Repair your car - Bronze: An easy one to start off. Simply drive through an auto repair for that magic metallic pot. The nearest repair shop is located in Angus Wharf, just a few hundred yards from your starting point.

Perform 3 Takedowns - Bronze: That insipid DJ Atomika making your blood boil? Vent a little fury by barging three opponents into traffic or scenery. The best place to get this Trophy is the Lighthouse Rock Road Rage event.

Power Park your car - Bronze: Find two cars parked closely together - most roads will have them - approach them at about 30 and use the handbrake to swing yourself behind the first...

Video: Eight Minutes of WET Gameplay for PlayStation 3

50°
325w ago - While the publishing fate of WET for PlayStation 3 (and Xbox 360) remains in limbo, developer A2M from Montreal is still proceeding with their hot gun-totting action game WET.

The game tells the story of Rubi, an acrobatic, sword-wielding gun-for-hire who agrees to help a wealthy man find and bring back his wayward son. Soon enough all hell breaks loose and the tables are turned, as the man who hired her isn't who he appeared to be. Now Rubi's on the run, needing to find the man who left her for dead and leaving a massive body count in her wake.

A2M Senior Artistic Technical Director, David Lightbown, presented an exclusive 8 minute video of WET gameplay at MIGS 2008 and NextGen Player was given special permission to record the clip.

Note: The video below contains content that is mature (violence). Viewer discretion is advised.

After watching the video I think you'll agree with me that Activision may have made a poor choice dropping this game. This game looks hot.
