Just One More Minute: Taking to the Skies in Luftrausers Details

Just One More Minute: Taking to the Skies in Luftrausers Details 50°
93w ago - Vlambeer's Rami Ismail announced today that fans can take to the skies in Luftrausers with details below, as follows:

LUFTRAUSERS is a short game. To be precise, it takes about thirty seconds. We're not talking in terms of hours you need to complete the campaign, although you technically could beat it within two minutes.

We're not even talking about how many hours you'll be playing the game in total. What we're talking about is the amount of time a single round of LUFTRAUSERS is going to take you.

When you boot the game for the first time on your PlayStation 3 or PS Vita, you'll see the logos of Vlambeer and Devolver Digital - as you'd expect. There'll be a short introductory cutscene, as a lone dot appears on enemy radar. A submarine rises from the water.

The structure of the game is really simple. You start out with the original LUFTRAUSER, the most powerful airplane ever built. It is launched perfectly vertical from a submarine that only submerges for the shortest of moments to allow you to establish yourself as the nightmare of the many enemies surrounding you.

A game of LUFTRAUSERS is essentially you trying to survive against increasing odds. While at first you might engage only basic fighter planes, it'll take an average player just moments to lure...

Video: Behind the Scenes of Injustice: Gods Among Us on PS3

Video: Behind the Scenes of Injustice: Gods Among Us on PS3 100°
121w ago - Netherrealm Studios Producer Hector Sanchez has posted up a behind the scenes video today spotlighting Injustice: Gods Among Us on the PS3 entertainment system.

To quote: It's been a fast-paced summer for us here at Netherrealm Studios as we zoom towards the release of Injustice: Gods Among Us.

After strong showings at both the San Diego and New York Comic-Cons where we revealed new characters while also giving fans hands-on time with their favorite heroes and villains, the team is hard at work on finalizing all of the great content we've packed into our next fighting game.

And while we've released a ton of content so far, you wouldn't believe what we have in store! Building on the foundation we laid with Mortal Kombat, the team has worked hard to make sure we have more than enough compelling content to keep players entertained for hours on end.

We have HUGE announcements coming up in the next few months concerning the story of the game that will answer the burning question fans have been asking us over and over: Just why are all of these icons fighting each other?

We still have yet to reveal all of our characters, and the response that we've...

Injustice for All: Ed Boon Shares Vision for DC Fighter

Injustice for All: Ed Boon Shares Vision for DC Fighter 50°
137w ago - Sony Senior Social Media Specialist Sid Shuman has interviewed Creative Director Ed Boon of NetherRealm Studios on DC Fighter today!

Below is the interview, to quote: During EVO 2012, I got a rare opportunity to chat with Ed Boon, co-creator of Mortal Kombat and creative director for Injustice: Gods Among Us.

Though NetherRealm Studios' latest title wasn't playable at the show, Boon walked me through his vision for the DC-themed fighter, his overall plans for NetherRealm Studios, and some key changes he's bringing to the fighting game formula.

PlayStation.Blog: It strikes me that Superman looks awfully aggressive in Injustice. His cape is torn, he looks upset. What's up with Supe?

Ed Boon, Creative Director, NetherRealm Studios: We haven't released many details on the story... but I can say that it's very observant of you. Our Superman isn't quite the same Superman that you grew up with.

We definitely want to give a more contemporary, NetherRealms spin to the character, and he plays a big part in the story. People will definitely be surprised by this rendition of Superman. We'll be revealing more details with Comic-con, PAX, Gamescom, and so forth.

PSB: Superman, for me, has never...

Escape Plan: The Asylum DLC Hits PSN Today for Just 25 Cents 50°
142w ago - Fun Bits Interactive Team Lead Chris Millar has announced that Escape Plan: The Asylum DLC hits PSN today for just 25 cents!

To quote: It's an insane time for Escape Plan, as we have a ton of new content launching for everyone this week: The Asylum DLC arrives for just 2 25 cents, Patch 1.02 goes live, five free Avatars are coming for PS Plus members and the Escape Plan Demo will be available for all PS Vita players - all with today's PS Store publish!

Since launch, our fans have chipped in to provide feedback and thoughts on Escape Plan. All of these little nuggets of advice and tips have helped us to improve and change the overall experience, and so for a limited time, we're giving back to fans by dropping The Asylum DLC from $4.99 to a just a handful of change - $0.25, to be exact.

The gameplay of The Asylum picks up right where Lil and Laarg left off at the end of Escape Plan. Lil and Laarg travel through a sewer pipe, only to find themselves in Bakuki's Asylum. This latest conundrum is filled with padded walls, shocking minions, gruesome blades of mass destruction and even more helpless sheep.

The Asylum delivers a ton of crazy content, including the Lil and Laarg Dressing Room where fans can check out the God and Luchadore Super Pack costumes, with the Poindexter...
