God Of War 3 PS3 Feature in Next Game Informer Magazine Issue 50°
February 6, 2009 // 10:08 pm - If you have some extra money left in your gaming budget, you might want to consider buying a copy of the next issue of Game Informer. It takes an in-depth look into one of the most anticipated PS3 titles so far: God of War 3.

The mag's March issue will include exclusive info, art, and screenshots of the final installment of the brutal series. There's also some features on games like Resident Evil 5, BrĂ¼tal Legend, and GTA 4: The Lost and Damned.

Microsoft to Issue Emergency Patch for Internet Explorer Today 100°
December 17, 2008 // 8:30 am - Microsoft is due to issue a patch to fix a security flaw believed to have affected as many as 10,000 Web sites.

The emergency patch should be available from 1800 GMT on 17 December, Microsoft has said.

The flaw in Microsoft's Internet Explorer browser could allow criminals to take control of people's computers and steal passwords.

Internet Explorer is used by the vast majority of computer users and the flaw could affect all versions of it.

Reeves: PSP2 is Not in Development, Lack of Software is Issue 100°
December 11, 2008 // 8:03 pm - SCEE president David Reeves has said that there are currently no plans for a PSP 2 console stating: "I go to Tokyo quite a lot and no one has referred to it - I think they have their hands full at the moment." he said.

Microsoft Rep on XBox 360 RROD Issue: They Fed Us to the Lions! 500°
November 20, 2008 // 11:22 pm - More than a week ago, GamingConfidential reported that a Microsoft customer service representative foresaw an outbreak of the Red Ring of Death (RROD) issue once the New Xbox Experience becomes available.

While most scoffed at the idea, the prediction held true and MS service lines are white hot with calls from angry customers.

EALA Admits 'Chronic Issue' with PC Game Support 50°
July 8, 2008 // 12:05 am - Command & Conquer 3 developer EA Los Angeles has admitted that it has had a "chronic issue [with product support] for more than four years," and is forming a dedicated support team to try and address the issue.

"I am not as proud of our record in supporting our games after launch. In fact, I'm downright unhappy with that aspect of our business," EALA general manager Mike Verdu wrote on the official C&C site.

Microsoft explains the 'TheGayerGamer' name change issue 50°
May 15, 2008 // 4:25 pm - Microsoft's Stephen Toulouse has explained why the company decided issue a name change request against the gamertag "TheGayerGamer". "We recieved a complaint on the Gamertag and determined that it did indeed contain sexual innuendo.

Now granted, there could be an argument that the text is not pejorative to homosexuality and should therefore be allowed. But there is no context to explain that.

Gamertags are visible to everyone and it would be hard for me to defend to a parent of a young child who saw it that the name did not contain content of a sexual nature."
