4d ago - VooFoo Studios Community Manager Emily Crees shared a PS4 video today announcing that Pure Hold'em is coming to PlayStation 4 with a preview below.

To quote: It's been a busy start to 2015 for everyone here at VooFoo Towers. We're very pleased to announce that we've been hard at work on the latest, greatest addition to the 'Pure' series; Pure Hold'em!

The first poker game to come to PS4.

We're proud of the high level of expectation on every new VooFoo release and we're not holding back on stunning visuals, silky-smooth gameplay or the purity of the experience.

Pure Hold'em will have full online multiplayer support. You can create a tournament with up to 8 of your friends, or join an open table with other players looking for a quick poker fix.

Start your journey at the Joker table and work your way up to top of the Masters table. Buy your way into a game with credits, play your blinds, go all in - whatever it takes to steal the pot and win the game.

If Lady Luck is on your side, you could win big and get the chance to enter a higher level table. The higher you go, the higher the stakes and the bigger the winnings! Don't worry if you lose it all though, we've also included...

Video: Skill-based Stunt Racer FutureGrind is Coming to PS4

5d ago - Milkbag Games Co-Founder Owen Goss shared a PS4 video today announcing that the skill-based stunt racer FutureGrind is coming to PlayStation 4.

To quote: Hi, we're Owen Goss and Matt Rix, and together we are Milkbag Games, the two-person team making FutureGrind. We are extremely excited to announce that FutureGrind will be coming to PS4!

FutureGrind is a game all about skill, tricks, and speed. We think it's a bit like Uniracers meets OlliOlli. The game is played on a track made of rails that run through a 3D environment: some rails are blue, some are red, and some are white.

As the player, you control a futuristic, motorcycle-sized vehicle called a "grinder". Your grinder has two wheels: one blue, and one red. You have to get from the start of the track to the end in one piece, while scoring the most points possible.

Be careful: do NOT let the wrong wheel touch. Your blue wheel can touch blue rails, your red wheel can touch red rails, but touch the wrong rail and you'll cause a short circuit. Watch out, short circuiting leads to, well, a bit of a mess.

Survival is important in FutureGrind, but it's really just the baseline. In order to succeed, you'll need to get good at doing chains...

Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines is Coming to PS Vita on March 3rd

1w ago - Sony Producer Yulie Yoshimura announced today that Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines is coming to PS Vita on March 3rd, 2015.

Below are the details, to quote: It's been a long time since we've brought you any news on Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines, but I'm excited to announce that this unique JRPG will be available as a digital download on PS Vita via PlayStation Store for $19.99 starting on March 3rd!

So what does Oreshika bring to fans of the genre? Well, first of all there's the striking graphic style. Set in ancient Japan, the game art delivers a rich world inspired by traditional brush paintings of the Heian era.

You'll be exploring a beautiful, watercolor world filled with weird and wonderful creatures based on Japanese mythology. Oh, and we've kept the fantastic Japanese voiceover which fits in with the atmosphere perfectly.

The gameplay is quite unique, too. In Oreshika, you'll take control of a clan whose bloodlines have been struck with two terrible curses - a Curse of Ephemerality, and a Curse of Broken Lineage.

The Curse of Ephemerality means that your clan members age rapidly with a maximum lifespan of around 2 years. As you explore labyrinths, defeat demons, and find treasures, the clock of in-game time is always ticking so it's important to plan your...

Video: Gravity-bending Brawler Paperbound Coming Soon to PS4

2w ago - Sony Designer and Programmer Dan Holbert announced that the gravity-bending brawler Paperbound is coming soon to PlayStation 4 with a PS4 video trailer below!

To quote: Hi, I'm Dan Holbert, designer and programmer of Paperbound, a crazy new brawler coming soon to PS4.

I'd like to share our trailer, talk a bit about the game, and answer any questions you have. It's been a long journey filled with 7-day work weeks, so the team is happy that a lot of people have really enjoyed it.

Paperbound is a game where you run with scissors and walk on walls – all in the context of old books that have come to life. It's a local multiplayer brawler.

Two-to-four players fight it out in single-screen arenas from the pages of old books including A Journey to the Center of the Earth, Dante's Inferno, Musashi's Book of Five Rings, the ancient Egyptian Book of the Dead, and Skull Kingdom.

Magic dust has brought the characters from these books to life and given them the ability to manipulate gravity. Your gravity reorients to match the surface you're traveling along. You can also flip your gravity 180 degrees at any time for quick surprise attacks and fly-by decapitations.

It's both wacky and...

Video: QBert Rebooted is Coming to PS4, PS3 and PlayStation Vita

3w ago - LOOT Entertainment Product Manager Jason Sorensen announced today that QBert Rebooted is coming to PS4, PS3 and PlayStation Vita platforms with a video trailer below.

To quote: Want to play one of the most well-known, bestselling games in the history of gaming? Q*Bert is back - for your PS4, PS3 and Vita.

The complete, original version of Q*Bert is only half of the equation. Gonzo Games, Sideline Amusements, Games Production Company, and we here at LOOT Entertainment are also bringing to PlayStation a completely reimagined Q*Bert game: Q*Bert Rebooted.

To keep it short and sweet: you get two great Q*Bert games (on all three PlayStation platforms) for the price of one.

So: how do you take such a classically perfect game design and successfully modernize it?

Instead of cubes, Q*Bert Rebooted features hexagons. That may not sound like a game-changer, but it is; suddenly, you get some really interesting level designs, especially later in the game.

In addition, there are new features, such as time and score challenges, new enemies with their own unique behaviors, new playable characters, power-ups, traps, and gem-collecting. Q*Bert Rebooted is the equivalent of your old backyard...
