The Bourne Conspiracy has Mandatory 5GB HDD Install

The Bourne Conspiracy has Mandatory 5GB HDD Install 350°
352w ago - The box of The Bourne Conspiracy PS3 box states that the game requires a 5GB install.

Is anyone else starting to run low on space?

To quote: When will it all end? PS3 hard drives are gonna be full everywhere soon. Sure you can upgrade your hard drive, but do developers need to make 5GB installs all the time?

The latest to share the hard drive is The Bourne Conspiracy, which shipped to retailers today from Sierra.

You would figure with the amount of complaining going on about installs that developers would cut it back a bit. I guess not.

PixelJunk Eden Allows Gameplay Capture Uploads via YouTube 50°
352w ago - According to a revealing report over at Japanese site Impress Watch, Q-Games forthcoming PSN puzzle title PixelJunk Eden will allow players to capture gameplay footage and upload it directly to YouTube for others to see – all straight from within the game itself.

This is a feature that was recently added to the PS3 SDK, but it's surprising to see titles implementing it so soon.

Additionally, the article drops word of three player co-op, PS3 to PSP connectivity via Remote Play, and attainable "trophies."

PixelJunk Eden is currently slated for a summer 2008 release on PSN.

Battlefield: Bad Company to Have 300MB Install on PS3

Battlefield: Bad Company to Have 300MB Install on PS3 250°
352w ago - The package shot for the PS3 version of Battlefield: Bad Company reveals the game will require a 300MB install. The X-Box 360 version of the game only requires 2MB of space.

To quote: Reedix sent in a comparison picture of the boxes of EA's upcoming Battlefield: Bad Company on the PLAYSTATION 3 and X-Box 360. What he noticed was that the PLAYSTATION 3 requires 300MB of space while the X-Box 360 version requires 2MB of space.

He got these box shots from the PS3 and 360 pages for the game on GameStop.com.

Is 300MB a reasonable HDD requirement for PS3 owners, or are they taking a back seat to 360 owners?

Top 50 Games of All Time List!

Top 50 Games of All Time List! 100°
352w ago - Recently, the staff of 411Mania games got together to discus putting together our lists of top 50 games of all time. I present to you my list of the top 50 games of all time, in my opinion.

1. Maniac Mansion Nintendo Entertainment System
Maniac Mansion was one of the greatest games to ever be put on a console of any kind. This was one of the first games I ever went back and played after beating it because it offered alternative endings based on how you played the game. This was a revolutionary game that garners almost no reception or appreciation today. If you can ever find a copy of this game pick it up I promise you that you will not regret it. Here's hoping someone out there reads this and sends me a copy of it for the original NES.

2. Halo 2 Xbox
There is nothing to say about this game that has not already been said. This was the first time I ever felt that I was fully using the potential of my Xbox While I enjoyed Halo 3, it was nowhere near as innovative or enjoyable as this one.

3. 1942 NES
1942 is the greatest vertical shooter game in existence. As a kid remember just playing this game for hour after hour. I have this game downloaded on my pc and still play it almost on a weekly basis. I am excited to see how the new sequel plays out on the Xbox 360.
