50°
322w ago - Cool monitors.. Who wants one?!!!

iZ3D plan to show off a new line of 3D monitors at next month's Consumer Electronics show. The line-up includes a 22-inch monitor with a custom paint job.

All of the monitors use special software drivers and viewing glasses to add 3D to standard PC, PS3, Wii and Xbox 360 games.

Most PC games released in the last five years, including many of the most popular multiplayer online, first person shooter, and role-playing games, have already been designed for 3D displays. iZ3D's optimized driver unlocks the third (depth) dimension of these 3D-ready games to allow gamers to finally play them as they were written - in 3D.

The monitors can also be used in standard 2D mode and run for $4oo to $550.

UnAnnounced Classic Sega Games Coming to PSN and XBLA

50°
323w ago - Several unannounced SEGA-made games recently popped up on the Entertainment Software Rating Board's (ESRB) Web site.

Apparently the publisher is using the Wii's Virtual Console as a sort of test bed as the listed titles have already released on Nintendo's System (not to mention the fact that they're also classic games).

Now coming to Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network are Gunstar Heroes, Phantasy Star II, Comix Zone and Sonic The Hedgehog 3.

There's no indication of a release date for any of the titles, but as soon as we get wind of one, we'll let you know.

Confirmed: X-Edge (US) is Coming in March 2009 to PlayStation 3

50°
323w ago - Speaking to RPGamer, an NIS America representative confirmed the rumors that the ensemble RPG X-Edge will be headed for the US.

That's great news for traditional JRPG fans everywhere - the Compile Heart title features characters from the companies Capcom, Namco-Bandai, Gust, Idea Factory and Nippon Ichi.

Mark your calendars, the game will be released in March 2009.

To quote: X-Edge just seems to have NIS America all over it. It features characters from Disgaea, Mana Khemia, Ar tonelico, Spectral Souls, and the Atelier series. I mean, come on, there are even Prinnies. When should we expect to see it in North America?

NISA: X-Edge is an interesting project since it's a collaboration between 3 different companies. It's pretty funny to see a little Prinny fight characters from Darkstalkers like Morrigan and Demitri.

The release date isn't finalized yet, but it's going to be in March 09.

Under Siege Coming Exclusively to the PlayStation 3 Console

100°
323w ago - Seed Studios was supposed to reveal a PS3 exclusive game at Leipzig Games Convention earlier this year. It didn't happen.

However, their official site (linked above) now reveals the name of their upcoming game: Under Siege.

There are no details what this game is about, or what it'll even look like. All we know is that it'll be on the PS3, and only on the PS3.

You can take a look at the official site, but don't expect to find out much more.

When we get our hands on any new information, you'll be sure to find out.
