Take-Two Announces Agreements with Rockstar Creative Talent 50°

(NASDAQ:TTWO) today announced that it has established a new incentive compensation program for the Rockstar Games label that is primarily based on a profit sharing arrangement, and at the same time has entered into new long-term employment agreements with members of the creative team of its wholly-owned Rockstar Games publishing label.

The new employment agreements have an initial term ending on January 31, 2012.

Shoot! will deliver series of short films that will be free to download from 13th November via PlayStation®Network for PLAYSTATION®3 (PS3™) or PSP™ (PlayStation®Portable), allowing owners to watch cutting-edge film from up-and-coming directors and experience this unique content.

The films will also be screened across Europe on ShortsTV from January 2009.

Rumor: New Tales Of PS3 Title to be Announced? 50°
361w ago - Update: Apparently, something went wrong in translation. The article speaks about them hoping for a Tales Of game for the PLAYSTATION 3. Although, with one being on Wii and one being on 360, a PLAYSTATION 3 game is imminent.

ScrawlFX reports that a Japanese gaming magazine indicates that the PS3 will soon receive its own Tales Of game that will 'take advantage of the system's power".

362w ago - Sony's handheld is far from unsuccessful. The little device absolutely destroys in the Japanese market and it provides a nice alternative to the DS here. In the world of handhelds, some consider it a Yin to Nintendo's Yang.

Rumor: Tales Of Vesperia coming to PS3! 50°
367w ago - Tales of Vesperia for PS3 has been listed in Nacmo Bandai's list of games that will be released in Japan later this year. The Xbox 360 version of the game is set to release in the US on August 19, 2008.

A document detailing Namco Bandai's financials and outlook for the remainder of 2008 was posted on the company's Japanese site earlier today. Interestingly, the PDF contained a release list revealing that Tales of Versperia would be coming to the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

Obviously, that goes against what Namco has been saying - that Versperia is an Xbox 360 "exclusive."...

387w ago - Thirty minutes into the start of the Jump Festa event on Saturday over at the Makuhari Messe just outside Tokyo, lines for the new Tales of Symphonia game reached ninety-minutes, and never looked back. Waiting that long to play a game for a few minutes is usually a drag, but we didn't have too many qualms about getting an early first chance at the sequel to one of the GameCube's biggest RPGs.
