Video: Ragnarok Odyssey ACE is Out Today for PS3 and PS Vita

Video: Ragnarok Odyssey ACE is Out Today for PS3 and PS Vita 50°
48w ago - XSEED Games Localization Specialist Ryan Graff posted up a video announcing that Ragnarok Odyssey ACE is out today for PS3 and PS Vita platforms.

To quote: Ragnarok Odyssey ACE on PS3 and PS Vita is a game about slaying giants, and now that we're finally at launch, some of us feel like we've fought one ourselves!

Not just because it's a large game, although it certainly is. ACE is a massively expanded version of the original Ragnarok Odyssey, with enough new content to make it about twice the size this time around.

The most prominent new feature is a 400-story tower, with enough monsters and new story content to fill it; you'll see that once you reach the original game's ending, which is now the new game's midpoint. Throughout the game, you'll also discover new character skills, new weapon types, new NPC sidekicks, and a slew of other new features and conveniences.

ACE is the first Ragnarok Odyssey game to appear on PS3 as well as PSVita, with readily available cross play (for up to four players) and cross saving between the two.

The game also allows players to import their save data from the original Ragnarok Odyssey, bringing over their character's name, appearance, and cards (except...

Grip Games Announces Jet Car Stunts Coming to PS4, PS3, PS Vita

Grip Games Announces Jet Car Stunts Coming to PS4, PS3, PS Vita 50°
49w ago - Grip Games CEO Jakub Mikyska announced that Jet Car Stunts is coming to PS4, PS3 and PS Vita platforms with details below.

To quote: Hey! This is Jakub from Grip Games. I'm here today to announce that we're bringing our incredible racer/platformer hybrid franchise, Jet Car Stunts, to PS3, PS4, and PS Vita.

If you haven't heard about Jet Car Stunts before, it's a critically-acclaimed racing franchise that originated on mobile. Jet Car Stunts is unique because it lets you drive a Jet Car - a combination of a race car and a jet plane - and sends you on an adrenaline-fuelled race, miles above the ground.

This version of Jet Car Stunts is a remake of the original game. We've redone everything - the graphics are new to match the PS3 and PS4 level of visual quality, we've added new cars, new game modes, asynchronous multiplayer, and DualShock controls.

But we've left everything that makes Jet Car Stunts great... the thrills, the crashes, the need for precision, and the obsession to improve your times again and again.

Jet Car Stunts is like nothing you've seen before - from its sleek style to gravity-defying stunts. It's as much a platformer as it is a racing game.

You'll be required to strategically use your jet engine's fuel to help you jump over incredible...

Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F 2nd Coming to PS3, PS Vita in America

Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F 2nd Coming to PS3, PS Vita in America 200°
49w ago - Sega of America Associate Brand Manager Aaron Webber announced today that Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F 2nd is coming to PS3 and PS Vita in North America.

To quote: Following a fantastic reception to the PS3 and PS Vita release of Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F in North America and Europe, SEGA is proud to announce that we will be bringing Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd to the West later this year!

That's right. You're not dreaming. We believed in all of you and we asked for your support - and you gave it to us without reservation. It was your supportive comments, your encouraging words at every place we showed the game, and your drive that made all the difference.

Some of you bought the game twice - others three or even four times. But whether you picked it up once or four times, all of you helped make Miku a success, and still do. Thank you so much for that.

Now, it's our turn to believe in you once more.

This fall, we will be releasing Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F 2nd for both PS3 and PS Vita. Project Diva F 2nd features similar but improved gameplay over the first game, with a whopping 40 songs - a collection of the best new songs, and some of the most loved classic songs, previously...

Deception IV: Blood Ties is Out Today for PS3 and PlayStation Vita

Deception IV: Blood Ties is Out Today for PS3 and PlayStation Vita 50°
49w ago - Sony Producer Keisuke Kikuchi announced today that Deception IV: Blood Ties is out today for PS3 and PS Vita consoles.

To quote: It's safe to say that no other game in the world contains as many ways to kill and hurt enemies as Deception IV: Blood Ties, which is out today on PS3 and PS Vita.

More than 100 different traps allow you to slice, hit, launch, trip, and otherwise torment your victim in a variety of imaginative ways. Dropping a flower vase onto the head of a powerful hero as a giant high heel descends from the ceiling to crush him is not the kind of experience you can have in most other games.

Besides the traps that you can select and place yourself, you can also take advantage of stage traps. In one stage you can set up a launching trap to hurl your victims into the Car Wash, and in another you can roast them alive inside a Brazen Bull.

But while Laegrinna and her Daemons show neither mercy nor restraint toward their victims, we've worked hard to keep Deception IV: Blood Ties from getting too graphically violent. Dismemberment, for example, is never shown. Because more than anything, we wanted it to feel rewarding when a trap combo is successful, and for this we felt it was necessary to achieve the right balance between serious and comical.
