Has Rockstar abandoned the PSP? 50°
September 4, 2008 // 10:12 pm - A funny thing happened a couple of months ago. After completing the PSP version of God of War, developer Ready At Dawn Studios posted a matter-of-fact news story on their site about how they were packing up their dev kits and sending them back to Sony.

The company behind one of the must-play games on the PSP was giving up on the system completely. Around the same time, Sony itself announced a new partnership program where universities could buy up PSP and PS2 development kits on the cheap. It would seem that Ready At Dawn isn't the only...

SCEE to launch PlayStation Network Collections for PSP 50°
September 4, 2008 // 7:17 am - Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) has got a new gig up their sleeves. Come October, they will be launching the PlayStation Collection - Power Pack for the PlayStation Portable.

There will be two Collection discs,and will each have three first party published PSN games. There's the PlayStation Network Power Pack, which includes: flOw, Beats, and Syphon Filter: Combat Ops. The other one is called the PlayStation Network Collection: Puzzle Pack, bringing you Go! Lemmings, Go! Sudoku, and Go! Puzzle.

We've yet to hear any word regarding the price of these Power Packs,...

PlayTV goes back to DRM-free, PSP-friendly copying! 250°
September 3, 2008 // 8:53 pm - Sometimes it's hard to keep track of what's "official" and what's not - especially because Sony continues to contradict itself. When we first heard the Euro-exclusive PlayTV box would allow users to copy recorded shows onto the PSP, we all said "yay."

The convenience of recording TV and taking it with us wherever we go sounded swell. Then, we found out that the files would be restricted.
