Video: Sony Reveals Sleeping Dogs Wakes on PS3 Tomorrow

Video: Sony Reveals Sleeping Dogs Wakes on PS3 Tomorrow 100°
133w ago - Senior Producer Jeff O'Connell has revealed on Sony's PlayStation Blog today that Sleeping Dogs officially wakes on PS3 tomorrow!

To quote: It's been a long journey. Even now, it's hard to believe that Sleeping Dogs launches tomorrow.

It's a little odd given how the game is primarily a single player experience, but I think it's as we start seeing the online leaderboards fill up that the reality sets in: we made it.

It's obviously not the end of our time with the world we spent over five years piecing together, but it definitely marks a turning point - the time when we release a game once named Black Lotus, then True Crime: Hong Kong and finally Sleeping Dogs to you.

From here on Sleeping Dogs isn't living inside a bubble, but instead exists as a part of gaming's ever-growing cultural canvas. How big a part is in your hands - rest assured we have poured our hearts and souls into making our protagonist Wei's world one we feel you will enjoy.

Up to now we've seen a lot of focus on the systems we have crafted - the combat, the driving, the social hub - but we're most excited to see how people receive the story. Wei Shen's triad odyssey is the glue that holds all these other tasty parts together.

With it, Sleeping Dogs goes from being a collection...

Sony Officially Reveals Metal Gear Solid 4 PS3 Trophy List

Sony Officially Reveals Metal Gear Solid 4 PS3 Trophy List 650°
135w ago - Today Sony Producer Yoshikazu Matsuhana of the Metal Gear Solid 4 Trophy Project has officially revealed the Metal Gear Solid 4 PS3 Trophy List!

To quote: Did you all experience Metal Gear Solid 4 back in 2008? Or maybe for some reason you missed it? The Trophy system was introduced to PS3 in the middle of 2008.

However, by that time, MGS4 had already finished development and was about to launch, so we were regrettably unable to implement Trophies at launch. But, we've always had it on our to-do list and users have given us continuous feedback requesting Trophies over the years.

For all those who have asked "where are the Trophies?" we are very sorry for the long wait. However, in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Metal Gear series, we are very pleased to announce that trophies will finally be coming to MGS4 in the beginning of August!

Furthermore, retail versions of the game in stores will be updated to offer native Trophy support out of the box.

For loyal fans and new players alike, there's never been a better time to relive the experience of MGS4. The timeless PS3 classic is back - now with full Trophy support!!

You enjoy all the killing, that's...

Sony Reveals Dungeon Twister Brings Board Game to PSN Tuesday

Sony Reveals Dungeon Twister Brings Board Game to PSN Tuesday 100°
140w ago - Today Creator Chris Boelinger has revealeed that the Dungeon Twister board game will be arriving on PSN this coming Tuesday with details below.

To quote: My name is Christophe Boelinger, and I create board games.

To date, I've made more than 30, most of which are available in North America. My life is dedicated to games, so it goes without saying that I've always dreamt of having one of my board games turned into a video game.

When I designed the Dungeon Twister board game in 2003, I knew it was the perfect candidate for a videogame adaptation.

Its modularity, its infinite gameplay, its never-ending renewal, the tremendous variety in strategies that can be deployed, and most of all its addictive nature.

So when I met the guys from Hydravision at a board game convention, it was a revelation – and the beginning of Dungeon Twister as a video game. Dungeon Twist makes the jump to PSN this Tuesday, July 3rd.

So what is Dungeon Twister? It is a turn-based strategy game that some describe as a mix between chess and Dungeons & Dragons. The story is simple: A powerful character called the Arch-Mage has discovered immortality.

But he's...
