Quirky Puzzler King Oddball by 10Tons Ltd Hits PlayStation 3 Today

Quirky Puzzler King Oddball by 10Tons Ltd Hits PlayStation 3 Today 500°
4w ago - 10tons Ltd PR Coordinator Jaakko Maaniemi announced that their quirky puzzler King Oddball hits PlayStation 3 today!

To quote: Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it's King Oddball! The quirky physics puzzler that has charmed gamers on PS4 and Vita is making its way to PS3 today. It comes with a free trial, so you should really check it out!

As the title suggests, King Oddball is a bit weird. It's a physics-based puzzle game, but not like any you've played before. The gameplay is intensely skill based, and executed entirely with a single button. Here's how it works:

The titular King Oddball swings a rock with his tongue, back and forth, like a pendulum. When you hit X, the rock is released. The rock will carry whatever momentum it had at the exact moment you hit the button, so depending on your timing you'll get a mighty hurl or a delicate drop.

From then on it's all about the physics. Will you overshoot the tank? Will you just miss the helicopter? Your timing needs to be very, very good. And that only takes you through the levels where you have a couple of enemies to crush.

When there's a lot of enemies or structures to destroy, you need to layer in the puzzle part. You will get an extra rock if you squash three or more enemies with a single rock, or if you bounce...

Video: Kick And Fennick for PS Vita Out Today on PlayStation Vita

Video: Kick And Fennick for PS Vita Out Today on PlayStation Vita 550°
4w ago - Jaywalkers Interactive's Laurens Bruins announced that Kick And Fennick is out today on PlayStation Vita with a PS Vita trailer video below.

To quote: Hi everyone! Vincent and Laurens here again. We almost can't believe we're actually writing this, but Kick & Fennick is out today on PlayStation Store. It's been a crazy adventure, and our greatest challenge yet.

But, we're finally here, and we made a new trailer, so check it out!

As you can see in the trailer, Kick & Fennick is a game about a little boy with a very big gun. Any normal boy would leave the gun for the big kids to play with, but when our heroes meet and Fennick saves Kick from trouble, they notice Fennick's energy core is broken and embark on an adventure to the Core Tower in search of a new battery.

Besides shooting down any robot that gets in their way, Kick can make huge jumps by using the gun's powerful recoil. Whenever Kick fires the weapon, it will send him flying into the opposite direction!

This opens up tons of opportunities for cool platforming challenges. On your quest to help Fennick, you'll encounter many obstacles to overcome, such as treadmills, magnets, bouncy pads, teleporters, and a huge menacing robot that...

Video: PlayStation 4 Hardware Glitch, PS4 Discs Eject from Neon Light

Video: PlayStation 4 Hardware Glitch, PS4 Discs Eject from Neon Light 1000°
4w ago - Today Start Replay & Happi Campers (linked above) shared a video on YouTube of a PlayStation 4 hardware glitch present where PS4 discs eject from neon light as can be seen below.

According to Dalibor Bartos on YouTube, this behavior is normal who stated the following, to quote:

"This is normal behavior. PS4 uses capacitive 'touch' buttons, and the neon light ionize the air around or the induction of the HF voltage emitting from the light has made the PS4 believe that the button was pressed.

It is not a glitch, it's just how things work."

However, according to yewwowduck on YouTube: "An unintended outcome of an implementation that is not otherwise desired is, definitively, a glitch."

At the time of this writing, Sony has yet to officially comment on the matter.
