Heart Forth, Alicia is Coming to PS4 and PS Vita in Early 2016 300°
2d ago - Lead Developer Alonso Martin announced today that Heart Forth, Alicia is coming to PS4 and PS Vita in early 2016.

To quote: Hey everyone! I'm Alonso Martin, the lead developer of Heart Forth, Alicia - an upcoming Metroidvania RPG about a young wizard on her journey to stop a Spirit from consuming her homeland.

Heart Forth, Alicia is a '90s-inspired adventure that combines the electrifying gameplay of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, the expansive world & dungeons of the Zelda series, and the unfolding story style of Xenogears... except it's a little darker and has its own fantasy twist. You can watch the trailer here:

Up till May last year, I'd been the sole developer of this game for a few years. Thanks to the incredible support of the Kickstarter crowd and the outlets that covered the campaign, the game grew into a much bigger project, and it's thanks to them that we're able to bring the game to PS4 and PS Vita in early 2016.

Even the legendary Manami Matsumae (composer of Mega Man, Mighty No. 9, Shovel Knight) came aboard to produce a few tracks for the game! These past months have been one of the best things that've ever happened to me.

Ultratron is Coming to PlayStation 4, PS3 and PS Vita in Early 2015

Ultratron is Coming to PlayStation 4, PS3 and PS Vita in Early 2015 50°
13w ago - Curve Digital's Lucy Ingram announced today that Ultratron is coming to PlayStation 4, PS3 and PS Vita in early 2015 with details below.

To quote: Hey all! Lucy from Curve Digital here, with the exciting news that action arcade blaster Ultratron will be coming to PS4, PS3, and PS Vita early next year.

The game marks the second time we'll be working with original developer Puppygames, who are also the creators of Titan Attacks, another arcade reinvention which we brought to PlayStation platforms earlier this year.

Ultratron isn't a direct sequel, but just like Titan Attacks, it takes a classic arcade game and coats in a layer of modern polish, vibrant, colorful graphics and addictive risk/reward play.

Where Titan Attacks was all about expanding on classic Space Invaders, Ultratron takes its cue from Robotron and other classic twin-stick shooters adding upgrades, two player co-op, and adaptive difficulty that manually adjusts the pace of the game based on the skill of the player.

During the game, you'll attempt to avenge the human race as you blast your way through over 40 glowing neon levels, avoiding Chasers, Turrets, Minelayers, Spawners, bombs, and bullets before taking on the four evil 'bot bosses of the Apocalypse.

Ultratron is a pure arcade...

Video: Capsule Force PS4 is Coming Early Next Year to PlayStation 4 200°
16w ago - Klobit President Eric Wenske posted up a PS4 video trailer today announcing that Capsule Force is coming early next year to PlayStation 4.

To quote: It is the year 1999. It is the future.

After years of intergalactic battles, technology gave birth to advanced, galaxy-capturing capsules - tools that Earth's World Leaders readily supplied to their intergalactic forces. But many of these forces have gone rogue and are now fighting amongst themselves for these powerful orbs.

Greetings, readers! We are excited to announce our newest game, Capsule Force, a retro anime-inspired, multiplayer, arcade experience for PS4!

klobit's core team is comprised of two main members from Austin, Texas - a sound designer/composer, and a tall man who designs, codes, and creates art. We were fortunate enough to have a talented artist help with character art and design.

As fans of retro Japanese games and anime, we really wanted to share our love of the days of cassette tapes and CRT televisions by pulling inspiration from both 80′s space anime aesthetics and the fast-paced nature of arcade games.

From energy beams, levitating characters, environment design, and music, we wanted to capture...

Video: Lost Orbit PS4 is Coming to PlayStation 4 in Early 2015

Video: Lost Orbit PS4 is Coming to PlayStation 4 in Early 2015 50°
16w ago - PixelNAUTS Co-founder Chris Iacobucci posted up a PS4 video trailer today announcing that Lost Orbit is coming to PlayStation 4 in early 2015.

Below are the details, to quote: Stranded after his ship is destroyed in deep space by a strange anomaly, Harrison, a lowly maintenance worker and our hero, must struggle to survive.

It's been a challenge defining Lost Orbit from the beginning. At its core, it's a fast-paced action game, but there are flowing moments of serenity. It's not unfair to describe it, as we often have, as a death simulator.

It's the union of three distinct elements: fast paced action, flowing cathartic flight, and death. In truth, the best way to describe it is to make up a new phrase: Lost Orbit is a "dodge 'em up."

On Speed

Our pathetic hero, Harrison, must take matters into his own hands in order to find salvation quickly before he freezes, or starves to death in the depths of space. There is a lot of motivation in Lost Orbit to go fast.

Not the least of which is that it's fun. Lost Orbit presents you with simple to learn mechanics that, once mastered, will enable you to blaze through levels. Upgrading Harrison's kit allows players to customize...
