Video: DmC Definitive Edition on PS4: Vergil's Bloody Palace Detailed 550°
3w ago - Ninja Theory Product Development Ninja Dominic Matthews shared a PS4 video today showcasing the DmC Definitive Edition on PlayStation 4 which details Vergil's Bloody Palace below.

To quote: Hello PlayStation fam, Dominic Matthews from Ninja Theory here. With the PS4 launch of DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition just about a month away, I wanted to give you some more details on one of the game's most requested new features: Vergil's Bloody Palace.

Watch the video on YouTube at 1080p and 60 frames per second!

Vergil is a huge favorite amongst Devil May Cry fans. It will come as no surprise to you that when DmC was originally released, one of the most requested features for the game was a Bloody Palace mode just for Vergil.

When we knew we were getting the chance to create a new definitive edition of DmC, one of the first things on our list was to give the fans the mode that they seemed to want more than any other.

Vergil's Bloody Palace is a 60-floor combat arena. Unlike Dante's Bloody Palace, where the difficulty progresses through the 5 main difficulty levels, Vergil's Bloody palace starts on Nephilim difficulty for the first 20 waves, moves onto Son of Sparda difficulty, and ends with...

Sony Goes Hands-on with DmC: Definitive Edition on PlayStation 4

Sony Goes Hands-on with DmC: Definitive Edition on PlayStation 4 1150°
5w ago - Sony Social Media Specialist Ryan Clements went hands-on today with DmC: Definitive Edition on PlayStation 4 with details below.

To quote: When DmC: Devil May Cry launched in January of 2013, Ninja Theory introduced the world to a fresh interpretation of an iconic video game (anti)hero.

Half angel, half demon, the Dante of DmC not only fought legions of demon spawn, but the misinformation of an evil corporation. The demon king Mundus took a CEO's office, not a dark throne. It was a new game world, and Dante kicked its ass.

Now the smart-talking Dante fights on in DmC: Definitive Edition, launching March 10th on PS4. It's an enhanced version of the original PS3 game with a slew of new features and a layer of polish that makes Dante's demon-killing exploits and confident gunplay even more satisfying.

I had a chance to put the Definitive Edition through its paces, and managed to avoid embarrassing myself in the Bloody Palace along the way.

Starting with the basics: the Definitive Edition runs at 60 frames per second in crisp 1080p. This propels the fast-paced combat and kinetic environments to new heights, enhancing Dante's deft swordwork and the ever-shifting realm of Limbo.

To fully wring every advantage out of these new performance upgrades, the...

DmC: Definitive Edition is Coming to PS4 on March 17th, 2015 100°
11w ago - Ninja Theory Product Development Ninja Dominic Matthews announced today that the DmC: Definitive Edition is coming to PS4 on March 17th, 2015.

Below are the details, to quote: Hello PlayStation community, Dominic Matthews here from Ninja Theory. Today we're proud to announce that we're teaming up with Capcom again to bring DmC: Definitive Edition to PS4 on March 17th, 2015.

DmC: Definitive Edition does what it says in its name: it delivers the definitive DmC experience. We've revisited DmC: Devil May Cry and improved, optimized, and added to the game.

When creating the original DmC, there were improvements that we wanted to make, but never got the chance to. In DmC Definitive Edition, we've made those improvements.

We've taken on-board player feedback and implemented many of the most requested features. In addition, we've given DmC a full, next-gen makeover, with uprezzed graphics and a silky smooth running speed of 60 fps at 1080p. DmC Definitive Edition also comes bundled with all released DLC and a host of new modes.

Here are just some of the awesome new features of DmC: Definitive Edition:

• 60 fps and 1080p resolution - It looks and feels super smooth to play.

• Uprezzed Graphics - Including textures, characters, and cinematics.

64w ago - Sony PlayStation Store and Plus Content Manager Chris Howe revealed January 2014's PlayStation Plus content updates, which feature DmC, Soul Sacrifice and Borderlands 2 among them below.

Video: Face Your Demons: DmC Devil May Cry on Blu-ray & PSN Today

Video: Face Your Demons: DmC Devil May Cry on Blu-ray & PSN Today 50°
111w ago - Capcom Community Manager Greg Moore has announced alongside a Face Your Demons video trailer that DmC Devil May Cry officially hits Blu-ray and PSN today!

Below are the details, to quote: The time to face your demons has arrived! DmC Devil May Cry for PlayStation 3 is in stores now, and downloadable from PSN in a day-and-date digital release.

We're really delighted with the final project and I think Ninja Theory did an amazing job of combining existing elements of previous DmCs, while injecting their own flavor into the franchise.

Players can definitely expect to see both radically new elements and returning staple elements from past Devil May Cry games.

New to the gameplay are the Demon and Angel powers, which allow (and demand) Dante to switch fluidly between separate sets of abilities and weapons. The Demon side delivers heavy-hitting but slower attacks, while the Angel side unleashes swift area attacks that are relatively low damage.

Dante can now also use grappling chains to propel himself, enemies, and other objects between two points, allowing for a new emphasis on positioning, crowd control, aerial combat, and some flashy traversal.

As far as the gameplay experience, you'll see a return to the series' trademark mixture of gunplay and swordplay...
