Spring Fever 2015: 8 Weeks, 8 New PS4 Games, PS Plus Discounts

Spring Fever 2015: 8 Weeks, 8 New PS4 Games, PS Plus Discounts 100°
4d ago - Sony Network Entertainment Digital Distribution Manager Chieh Chen announced today news of their Spring Fever 2015 sale, which includes 8 weeks with 8 new PS4 games alongside PS Plus discounts below!

To quote: Hi everyone! March is here, and that means it's time for our annual Spring Fever promotion with discounts for PlayStation Plus members on hot new digital-only games each week.

This year, Spring Fever is going to last eight weeks - that's twice as long as last year - with new PS4 games launching each week.

Over the next two months, we're shining a light on some of the most unique titles coming to PS4 from incredibly talented developers and discounting their games for PS Plus members during each game's launch week.

This year's lineup features PlayStation console-exclusive titles, as well as classic franchises making their debut on PS4. And if you haven't made the jump to PS4 yet, don't fret - a number of these games are also launching on PS3 and/or PS Vita as well.

Spring Fever kicks off next Tuesday, March 3rd with the launch of Helldivers from Arrowhead Game Studios. It's a hardcore twin stick shooter perfect for four-player co-op madness. PS...

Apotheon Coming to PlayStation 4 February 3rd, Free for PS Plus

Apotheon Coming to PlayStation 4 February 3rd, Free for PS Plus 1000°
5w ago - Alientrap's Lee Vermeulen announced today that Apotheon is coming to PlayStation 4 on February 3rd, and will be free for PS Plus subscribers!

Below are the details, to quote: So in our last post we said that Apotheon would be launching sometime in January. Turns out we were off by a few days. Apotheon will actually be launching on February 3rd, 2015. But, we've got a really good excuse!

The reason for the short delay is because Apotheon will also be featured as part of Playstation Plus, and will be free for the month of February to all Playstation Plus subscribers for PS4! Check out our new launch trailer showing off a bit of our voice acting talent.

While sorting out all the paperwork involved with this deal, we've had a bit of extra time to do even more optimizations and playtesting to polish off the last few bugs. With the help of Sickhead Games doing the PS4 version, we're very happy with how the game has shaped up, and are very excited to finally release it to the world!

Back when we first started development in 2012, our original aspirations were much different. Apotheon actually started life as a sci-fi open world game where the player could sneak around a giant space station and cause trouble...

Sony Unveils PlayStation Plus: February 2015 Free PSN Games

Sony Unveils PlayStation Plus: February 2015 Free PSN Games 1000°
5w ago - Sony Senior Community Specialist Kristine Steimer unveiled the upcoming PlayStation Plus free PSN games for February, 2015 today!

To quote: This is a pretty awesome month for PlayStation Plus members with a variety of quality titles across PlayStation platforms entering the service.

On PlayStation 4 you'll receive one of the coolest games from last year - the critically acclaimed strategy/action RPG Transistor. PS4 owners will also get Apotheon, an action platformer set in Greek mythology, the day it releases on PlayStation Store.

PlayStation 3 owners can explore the ins and outs of Tokyo with Yakuza 4 or sneak about The City stealing what you can in Thief.

PlayStation Vita owners can see how many generations of champions it takes to beat the quirky Rogue Legacy and jump around as a little boy with a big gun (not so much for shooting enemies as it is launching you around) in Kick & Fennick, which is also releasing day and date in PlayStation Plus.

All of these games will be free for Plus members starting February 3rd. If you want to see these titles in action, check out the video below. When you watch, you may notice that the voice over has changed a bit, and my friend Ryan Clements is narrating instead of me.

He'll be handling the Plus communications...

Video: Koei Tecmo: Atelier Ayesha Plus Arrives on PS Vita Today 100°
7w ago - Koei Tecmo Europe Community Manager Chin Soon Sun announced that Atelier Ayesha Plus officially arrives on PS Vita today complete with a PlayStation Vita video trailer below.

To quote: Hello PS Vita players! We're happy to announce that today we are launching Atelier Ayesha Plus ~The Alchemist of Dusk~ on PS Vita via PlayStation Store.

If you're not familiar with the Atelier game series, it's a RPG developed by one of our development teams, GUST, in Japan.

Unlike the previous titles in the Atelier series, the setting for Atelier Ayesha Plus - the Dusk World - is on the verge of ruin, the glory of their civilization based on alchemy all but lost. Additionally, Hidari's role as illustrator serves to further deepen the presentation of the Dusk World.

Atelier Ayesha Plus tells the tale of a girl, Ayesha Altugle, who after the death of her grandfather and the disappearance of her younger sister Nio, now lives alone blending healing cures to sell in her workshop. Upon a vision of Nio appearing near her empty grave, Ayesha is convinced Nio is still alive and begins her search to save her sister.
