Video: Neptune Interactive Reveals The Castle Game Coming to PS4 700°
6d ago - Neptune Interactive Inc's Ayngaran Vamatheva shared a PS4 video trailer today revealing that The Castle Game is coming to PlayStation 4.

Below are the details, to quote: Do you remember the good ol' days when you built castles and fortresses? Then imagining your castle's defenses attacked by the armies of darkness in the ultimate battle of good versus evil?

That's exactly what inspired us to create The Castle Game, a new single-player strategy defense game for PS4. We are Neptune Interactive Inc., a small, Toronto-based studio comprised of a programmer, an artist, and an audio wizard, and we want to give you the experience of the medieval times.

In the Castle Game you build your fortress using a variety of medieval weaponry. Archers, knights, sorceresses, catapults, traps, and more are at your service in your fight against the minions of evil.

You can create elaborate mazes with walls and traps, or build an impenetrable fortress of spiked walls and burning oil, backed up by archers with flaming arrows, knights at choke points, and long-range catapults that rain stony death.

Like what you see? You'll love what we have in store for you. We're huge fans of Warcraft, the Lord of the Rings,...

12w ago - Today Chris Miller and John Mundy of Fun Bits Interactive officially announced Fat Princess Adventures for PlayStation 4 alongside a PS4 trailer video below!

To quote: Hey, this is Chris Miller and John Mundy. We're the studio head and creative director of Fun Bits Interactive, and we're here at Sony's PlayStation Experience in Las Vegas to announce our latest game, Fat Princess Adventures.

This new Fat Princess is bigger and badder than ever, with tons of fast-paced hack 'n' slash action. Up to four players can play together online or on the couch to save the world in this casual co-op RPG adventure.

The warring kingdoms from the original game have signed a truce and joined forces to battle the Bitter Queen and her army of hungry Gobblings.

Your epic quest will span the length and breadth of the land of Great Bitten, from the pinnacles of the Salt Mountains to the depths of the Mines of S'morsia. Along the way you'll fight dozens of new enemy types ranging from sticky cake golems to dreaded pirates.

Fans of the original game will instantly recognize the classic character classes: the Warrior, the Archer, the Mage, and the Engineer. This time however you can upgrade your character...

Video: Tripwire Interactive Bringing Killing Floor 2 to PlayStation 4 50°
12w ago - Tripwire Interactive Vice President Alan Wilson announced today that the time is right for bringing Killing Floor 2 to PS4!

To quote: Hi everyone. Alan Wilson here. I'm the Vice President at Tripwire Interactive.

What I enjoy doing for the company is writing, game design and research, but I also get to do all the crap no-one else wants to do. Except right now, when I get to talk about a huge step for us - Killing Floor 2 on PS4.

Tripwire Interactive was formed about 10 years ago and we released the original Killing Floor on PC in 2009. Since then, we've released a ton of additional content for free, added in some fun DLC, sold nearly 3 million units of the game and about 10 million units of DLC.

In case you're not familiar with Killing Floor, the game is a fun, dark, sometimes humorous take on a first person survival horror. Its really perfect for a console outing. So, we've been asked why we never did console before.

We've actually talked to a number of console teams over the last few years. But there always seemed to be reasons not to do it. One of the biggest for us was our independence. There always used to be a push to have us publish through some big publisher.

And...

Video: New Evolve Interactive PlayStation 4 Trailer is Revealed

Video: New Evolve Interactive PlayStation 4 Trailer is Revealed 50°
45w ago - 2K Executive Producer Denby Grace posted up a video today revealing the new evolve interactive PlayStation 4 trailer below.

To quote: We're very excited to share a complete match of Evolve with the world for the first time.

We've done something pretty cool with this trailer by allowing viewers to switch between the feed of any of our four hunters or the monster.

We've also included a sixth channel to watch along with some great commentary from Aaron "Ayesee" Chambers and Chris Ashton, the co-founder and design director at Turtle Rock Studios.

The concept of four hunters taking on one giant, evolving monster really sets Evolve apart from other games. This trailer does a great job of demonstrating just how unique each role is, and we're excited for gamers to start getting an idea of which side of the 4v1 battle they want to be on, keeping in mind that there's going to be even more hunters and monsters to choose from when Evolve ships this fall.

In this trailer, you get a look at the first four hunters in Evolve: Val the Medic, Griffin the Trapper, Markov the Assault, and Hank the Support. Each hunter plays a unique role in the fight, and each of them has unique weapons and...

Jaywalkers Interactive: Kick & Fennick Launches on PS Vita in 2014

Jaywalkers Interactive: Kick & Fennick Launches on PS Vita in 2014 50°
80w ago - Jaywalkers Interactive Co-Founders Vincent Bonefaas and Laurens Bruins announced today that Kick & Fennick launches on PS Vita in 2014.

To quote: We didn't count, but we must have saved the world thousands of times. Like many of us, we spent most of our childhood being superheroes dressed in cardboard armor with a towel around our neck, having the most amazing and epic adventures.

Thankfully, now that we're adults *cough*, video games still allow us to immerse ourselves in imaginary worlds, without looking like fools throwing pinecone grenades at each other. But this image of us as kids, running around the woods with a big stick, is thoroughly stuck in our minds.

This is where the idea for Kick & Fennick originated, remembering the fun we had saving the world, and our friends, with our massive stick weapons.

There are no complications as a kid, but if a real ten-year old boy would fire one of our imaginary super guns, he would surely launch himself through the air just from the weapon's recoil... which would be pretty damn cool!

We love big, cinematic game experiences. We're just a two-man team, but we couldn't have Kick just jumping around a bit using his weapon.

No, he needs to jump across huge skyscrapers, breaking through walls...
