4w ago - OSome Studio Creative Director and Co-Founder Ronan Coiffec announced today alongside a PS4 video trailer that Noir horror game White Night is coming to PlayStation 4 on March 3rd with details below.

To quote: Starting OSome Studio was a pretty frightening adventure in the beginning. I met Domenico Albani and Mathieu Fremont while employed together at Eden Games, where we worked on the fifth instalment of Alone in the Dark.

We all went our separate ways after that project finished, picking up experience at other studios, but there was always the feeling of "what if" in the back of our minds.

After a few more years of exhausting ourselves on blockbuster titles, the three of us took a step back and realized we each wanted to do something that would let loose our creativities and replenish our passions.

OSome Studio was founded to produce original, refreshing games with powerful and immersive environments. We didn't have much of a budget back then, but we shared a common vision for an original gaming experience and the will to make it a reality. It wouldn't be a big project, but it would be ours to own.

White Night is the product of that dream. Set in Boston in the 1930s, White Night is...

Video: The Forest: Open-World Survival Horror Hitting PlayStation 4

12w ago - Endnight Games Co-Founder Anna Terekhova announced today that open-world survival horror game The Forest is hitting PlayStation 4 with a PS4 video trailer below!

To quote: Think back to your childhood days: playing outside, building a fort, skipping a stone on a lake... now add cannibals who want to tear you apart.

This is 'The Forest' and it's on its way to PS4.

There are no missions, no NPC's telling you what to do and no text in the middle of the screen telling you to 'Follow.' You know those parts in games where some character is yelling at you, telling you what to do and to do it faster? Those moments' drive us crazy.

When we're in a game world we want to choose what we do and how we do it. This has been the driving force behind all the decisions we make. What would give players the most freedom and options. We think the best stories in games are the ones that occur on their own, the ones you experience naturally in the world.

Something we've learned over the past 6 months is that people love to share their gameplay experiences, as well as watch other people's playthroughs. Using the PS4 Share feature makes this even easier for players.

People can show off the bases...

Broken Window Studios: New PS4 Horror Title Grave Out in 2015

200°
15w ago - Broken Window Studios Community Outreach Manager Aaron Treguboff announced today that upcoming PS4 horror title Grave is due out in 2015 with details below.

To quote: Why do we like being scared? What scares us? Why do the things that frighten us also enthrall us? Grave, a new surreal horror game from Broken Window Studio, will terrify your psyche as much as it will make you jump out of your seat.

Grave is a procedural open-world survival horror game, which features a fusion between modern horror and classic survival horror gameplay elements. What does this mean?

It means that Grave will feature a modern psychological horror story, while keeping the classic survival horror gameplay found in games such as Resident Evil and Silent Hill when it comes to PS4 in 2015.

Killed in a home invasion, you are cast into an alternate reality where the world morphs and changes around you. Strange creatures lurk in the night and threaten your safety.

The only chance to escape is to pursue your killer - the man who sent you to The Wasteland. Light is the only tool for survival, your only protection from the unknown dangers that await.

Explore a dynamic, procedural desert inspired by the early wild west landscape of America as you explore Grave's unusual narrative....

P.T. on PlayStation 4: Survival Tips for Konami's PS4 Horror Hit

400°
17w ago - Konami Community Manager Su-Yina Farmer shared some PlayStation 4 survival tips today for Konami's PS4 horror hit P.T. below.

To quote: Forget the pumpkin spice lattes, Halloween is all about scaring the bejesus out of yourself and those around you.

So what better way to celebrate than turning the lights off, grabbing a headset or turning up your surround system (essential for the full immersive experience) and starting up P.T. - it's free to download on PS Store!

Sure, you can watch the countless videos populating the Internet of horrified gamers, but there's nothing more satisfying than completing the game yourself and obtaining that 'I Played P.T. to the End and Survived' kudos. It's an experience you won't forget.

If you're too terrified to try P.T. out, or have dipped your toe into the game but need a bit of guidance, let me hold your hand and give you a few hints and tips!

Firstly, you'll notice that P.T. plays in a loop: you'll visit the same corridor, but each time something will be different.

You should take the time to inspect and interact with everything: pictures on the walls, items on the floor. Listen closely and pay attention, the devil is in the details after all. Did a door just open? And don't forget to look up...

Indie Horror Game Home Hits PS4 October 28th, PS Vita Soon After

350°
18w ago - Benjamin Rivers Inc Director Benjamin Rivers confirmed today that Indie horror game Home hits PS4 on October 28th, 2014 with a PS Vita version to follow soon after.

To quote: It was announced that the horror game Home was coming to PlayStation this year, and I am very excited to say that the PS4 version of the game will be launching October 28th - just in time for Halloween!

This horror adventure is a player-driven story that responds to your choices; taking cues from adventure games as well as side-scrollers, what happens in Home is entirely up to the player.

As you make choices and even explore, the game changes in subtle ways to reflect your adventure. I like to think of it as the kind of game you'll immediately want to talk about with other players as soon as you finish it, just to compare notes.

The Vita version will follow very soon after - I honestly just couldn't wait to get the PS4 version into players' sweaty hands. But Vita owners, fear not: Home supports cross buy, so you'll get both versions of the game for the same price anyway, even if you get the PS4 version!

The only one who'll be more scared is my accountant; for the first two weeks I'm having a launch sale, so both versions of Home together will be available for the so-spooky-it-can't-be-real...
