11w ago - NIS America, Inc Marketing Coordinator Jordan Vincent announced today that Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance hits PlayStation 4 in Fall 2015.

Below are the details, to quote: Hello there, Prinny Pals! Jordan from NIS America here to deliver unto you news the likes of which you have never heard before!

In fall 2015, PS4 will be the exclusive home of Nippon Ichi Software's latest entry in the fan-favorite Disgaea series! Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance brings together a completely new cast of characters to tell a tale of rebellion and revenge.

As a new and terrible Overlord named Void Dark seeks to enslave the countless Netherworlds, one young demon has stood to end his reign - Killia. In Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance, you will lead Killia and his tenacious army of rebels in their struggle against Dark Void.

Along their dark path to vengeance, you will encounter more hilarious writing, over-the-top animations, and absurd damage numbers than anyone has seen in a Disgaea game. Ever.

If you've been thirsting for quirky characters, intense strategy, tumultuously tall towers of teammates, stat numbers, and gameplay hours that approach infinity (sort of), all in one game, well... you'll have to wait until Fall 2015.

But then, my young Prinnies, your...

TowerFall Dark World Expansion Coming Early 2015 to PlayStation 4

16w ago - Indie Game Developer Matt Makes Games Inc Matt Thorson confirmed today that their TowerFall Dark World Expansion is coming in early 2015 to PlayStation 4.

To quote: It's hard to believe that it's been 8 months since TowerFall Ascension launched on PS4. I have to thank all of our wonderful fans on PlayStation - the community response has been fantastic.

Since launching TowerFall, we've had countless requests for new levels, characters, power-ups, and modes. A lot of your suggestions have been really valuable, and after I recovered from the game's launch back in March, I began forming new ideas of my own. Slowly but surely, our plans for an expansion took shape. I'm excited to announce that the Dark World Expansion will hit PS4 in early 2015.

We want to call this an expansion rather than DLC, because it expands the game in every direction rather than providing small incremental additions. Approaching it this way allows us to tie all the new stuff together in a very cohesive manner. For you this means more playable archers, levels, modes, power-ups, variants, trials, and more.

Joining the roster we have the red archer, the Vainglorious Ghoul. As her appearance suggests, she captains an infamous ghost ship known as The Amaranth. The Amaranth, it turns out, is also one of four...

Metalhead: Super Mega Baseball is Coming to PS4, PS3 This Fall

23w ago - Metalhead Software Co-founder Scott Drader announced today that Super Mega Baseball is coming to both PS4 and PS3 platforms this Fall with details below.

To quote: Heyo! My name is Scott Drader and I'm a co-founder of Metalhead Software, a tiny indie studio on an island floating somewhere off the Canadian west coast.

I am most utterly delighted to tell you that we've got a new sports game cookin' for you by the name of Super Mega Baseball and it's going to be headed your way this fall on PS4 and PS3.

I'm going to tell you a little bit about why we decided to make the game in the first place and then elaborate on the Various Heat This Game Be Packin'.

There was once an era - and you'll know what I'm talking about if you've been around for a while - when a variety of new sports games came out each year; indeed the genre has gravitated towards fewer new titles each year. We once had titles ranging from casual, to ridiculous, to arcade, all the way up to simulation.

A lot of these games lived at this nice overall level of complexity where you could plop yourself on the couch with friends, even if they weren't huge sports fans, and go from having no idea what you're doing to having a blast in just an hour or two. It...
