PS3 CPU Exploit Released by DarkHacker, METLDR Exploitation 850°
March 6, 2011 // 7:27 pm - Today a PlayStation 3 hacker known as DarkHacker has released a PS3 CPU Exploit which he states will lead developers closer to METLDR exploitation.

From his site (linked above): This is a release of the hidden Cell Exploit found a while ago and one of the step taken to the metldr exploit i'm going to release the because i fell people should have the right to do as they wish and the information should be free to the public.

i know by releasing this exploit i'll probably be taken to court or sued but fck sony they can go to hell all i care for what there doing...

Rumor: Sony Chooses IBM Power7 CPU for PlayStation 4 in 2012 1000°
November 25, 2009 // 11:43 pm - According to Dutch site PS3Clan.nl (linked above), Sony is rumored to have selected IBM's Power7 CPU for their next-generation console tentatively called the PlayStation 4.

Below are a few fan-made concept pictures of what the PS4 could look like when it allegedly debuts in 2012, as well as a rough translation which states "it is a rumor, and not confirmed by Sony."

SCE: PSP Go's CPU Still 333MHz, 480MHz References USB Only 200°
July 6, 2009 // 2:23 am - Despite a previous report over the weekend (based on a misinterpreted FCC document), today Engadget's Japanese Web site has confirmed via SCE that PSP Go's CPU is still 333MHz, and that the 480MHz spec pertains to the USB only.

Of course, there's nothing to stop you 'testing' a network that you don't own, in a coffee shop or airport, for example.

Most cracking programs use your PC's CPU to do the hardcore number-crunching, but it turns out that the graphics card is actually far better at doing the kinds of calculations necessary.

Future Firmware Updates to Allow PS3's CPU Power Use on PSP? 100°
October 26, 2008 // 8:36 pm - It has been revealed that future Firmware updates may enable the PlayStation Portable to cope with more processing while using computational resources on the PS3 for areas where the PSP lacks resources.

So we could have some seriously strong interaction between the two systems - processor sharing, here we come baby!
