BBC iPlayer 3 is Coming to Sony's PlayStation 3 Console This Year 200°
June 24, 2010 // 11:14 pm - The BBC iPlayer has been available on Sony's PlayStation 3 console for quite some time, however, according to the BBC's Simon Cross the BBC iPlayer 3 will be coming to the PS3 entertainment system this year.

According to TechRadar, a new version of the catch-up TV service known as the iPlayer 3 will arrive as soon as technical issues with the sign-in process are resolved.

Sony Issues Letter to BBC's Watchdog on PS3 Failure Report 650°
September 17, 2009 // 5:53 pm - Update: The BBC has aired the show (videos below), during which it admitted that a number of the consoles it repaired for consumers have once again broken.

Tonight, the BBC Watchdog program will feature the PS3 and claim that Sony refuses to fix systems which suffer from the Yellow Light of Death (YLOD).

BBC Study Finds 40 Percent of MMORPG Gamers Are Bi-Females 50°
December 23, 2008 // 9:38 pm - The BBC reports that a study has found an unusually high level of bisexuality among women who play online MMO's. The study looked at 2,400 members of the population who played Everquest II.

To quote: I think a lot of our stereotypes are based on the way computer games have been, rather than where they're going.

The pressure to conform to traditional gender roles might mean that some women are put off activities seen as "masculine", whereas women who reject traditional gender roles might be more likely to play MMOs such as EverQuest II.
