4h ago - Sony Senior Vice President of Business Development Phil Rosenberg announced that HBO Go is available on PlayStation 4 later today with details below, as follows:

We know you've been looking forward to this day. We are excited to announce that the HBO GO app for PS4 will be ready to download later today.

The app functions just like the PS3 version. After you authenticate your PS4 with your current cable/satellite service through HBOGO.com/activate, you'll be able to watch every episode of every season of HBO's best shows, including True Detective, Silicon Valley and Game of Thrones.

Speaking of Game of Thrones, with the season 5 premiere airing on April 12th, you've got more than a month to get caught up on the first four amazing seasons. If you haven't seen the latest season 5 trailer, you can watch it here:

Video: Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines is Out Today on PS Vita 50°
5h ago - Sony Associate Producer Michael Pulst shared a PS Vita video trailer announcing that Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines is out today on PlayStation Vita.

To quote: Hello! We're happy to say that today is the day Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines launches for PS Vita and PlayStation TV, on PlayStation Store for $19.99!

To celebrate the launch - and as a thank you for purchasing - starting today until the store update on March 17th, you will receive two additional gods as a bonus that cannot be normally unlocked from within the game.

As a quick reminder, Oreshika is a story about revenge that takes place in ancient Japan. Your clan was sentenced to death for crimes they did not commit, and then had two curses placed on them. You have just been resurrected by a god and are now searching for those who cursed and conspired against your clan so that you may redeem the honor of your family name.

Within the game you will choose from 8 unique classes for the warriors of your clan. Each class has unique strengths that add to the strategy when choosing which warriors to take into battle, along with which items and equipment. Or you can leave it up to your trusted advisor, Kochin.

Amplitude: First PS4 Gameplay Trailer, Team Multiplayer Revealed

Amplitude: First PS4 Gameplay Trailer, Team Multiplayer Revealed 550°
22h ago - Creative Lead Ryan Lesser posted up the first Amplitude PS4 gameplay trailer today revealing Team Multiplayer below!

To quote: Hey there, fellow FreQ!

It's been a while since I've had a chance to talk to you about Amplitude, but with PAX East right around the corner, and looking at the great progress we've been making in development, it seems like a great time to show you what we are up to.

Team Amplitude has been working feverishly to bring a sweet build of the game to PAX East, and as of this past week, we think that we nailed it. In the past few months since showing the game at PlayStation Experience, we've put a real focus on multiplayer, hoping to get groups battling it out at PAX East.

While we were focusing on the gameplay for Amplitude multiplayer, I started posing a question to the team: What can we do to even the playing field when pro players sit on the couch to play against new players?

During a team meeting, I discussed thoughts that I had for things like "rubber-banding" and power-up distribution, and out of nowhere, Amplitude Audio Lead Pete Maguire threw out the idea of team play. TEAM PLAY!? Genius!

Team play is something we'd never done in Amplitude before, and allowing players to team up 2v2 or even 3v1 sounded like an amazing...

Forma 8: Raising the Bar on Sony's PS4 and PlayStation Vita

Forma 8: Raising the Bar on Sony's PS4 and PlayStation Vita 300°
6d ago - MixedBag Cofounder Mauro Fanelli shared details below today on Forma.8, which he proclaims raises the bar on Sony's PS4 and PlayStation Vita platforms.

To quote: It's almost one year since we announced that forma.8 was coming to PS4 and PS Vita on PlayStation.Blog, so it's time for an update, isn't it? In the announcement we shared a "late 2014" as a tentative release date and, as you can see since the game is still not available we, err... missed it, plain and simple.

Two factors contributed to the delay: first we focused on launching Futuridium EP Deluxe on PS4 and PS Vita and it took a bit more than expected, then we decided to raise the bar on forma.8, with a massive visual and technical overhaul.

As crazy as it may sound for a small team like MixedBag and on a long in the making project like forma.8 (we started working on it back in 2011!), we really felt that we had to try harder and polish the game further, pushing more and more to reach our original vision. And we're proud to finally share our progress with you for the first time here, right from the new demo we'll show at GDC next week!

Bringing An Alien World to Life

Forma.8 is an action adventure where you pilot a small robot probe stranded on an alien planet, on a dangerous mission...

Axiom Verge Out March 31st on PlayStation 4, New Powerup Details

Axiom Verge Out March 31st on PlayStation 4, New Powerup Details 200°
1w ago - Thomas Happ Games LLC Programmer / Artist / Designer / Composer Tom Happ announced today that Axiom Verge arrives this March 31st on PlayStation 4 with new powerup details below!

To quote: Hey everyone - this is Tom Happ, the sole developer of Axiom Verge. About a month ago, I was given the opportunity to come and describe the dedicated Speed Run mode feature of Axiom Verge. I was absolutely thrilled with everyone's response.

If you aren't familiar with Axiom Verge, please check out my initial post about the game. The tl;dr version is that you play as Trace, a scientist who wakes up after a lab accident in a hostile, alien world.

You need to uncover the mystery of how that world came to the state it's in and your role in it all. Similar to classic games like Super Metroid, Contra, Blaster Master and others, the gameplay incorporates a mix of exploration, hidden powerups, strange creatures to fight, and epic boss battles.

Let's talk powerups!

Powerups are the lifeblood of an exploration-based game. New abilities give...
