Tekken 6 to Offer a 4GB Optional PS3 HDD Installation 300°
October 21, 2009 // 9:28 pm - Even though Final Fantasy XIII was reported earlier today to require no PlayStation 3 HDD installation, Tekken 6 (available October 27 in North America) appears to have an optional 4GB PS3 install.

According to Tekken 6 game director Katsuhiro Hirada, the stages will be bigger and will have more interactivity- such as walls or floors that can be broken to reveal new fighting areas. The character customization feature has been enhanced, and will be more involved with the gameplay.

Photofast unveils 32GB PSP storage solution, 64GB in the works 50°
June 10, 2008 // 6:37 pm - Photofast unveiled two new PSP products at the Computex 2008 event in Taiwan recently. They CR-5400 is a "dual slot adapter that converts microSD/microSDHC into Memory Stick Pro duo and provides 16GB of memory."

Two of these can then be plugged into the CR-3100 which will give your PSP 32GB of storage. Photofast are also working to increase the maximum storage to 64GB.

Haze for PS3 has 4GB Mandatory Installation 100°
May 16, 2008 // 7:08 pm - Over on the official Ubisoft Forums, community developer Ubi_Wuzzi revealed that Free Radical's forthcoming first-person shooter Haze will require players to install 4GB worth of game data to their PS3's hard drive before playing.

This, of course, is nothing new. GTA IV, Devil May Cry 4, Lost Planet, and Hot Shots Golf: Out of Bounds all had mandatory HDD installations as well.

However, it still boggles one's mind as to why these installs are non-optional, considering similar titles like Resistance ran fine with all data loaded directly off the Blu-ray...
