April 14, 2012 // 1:25 pm - Following up on Sony's PS Vita Firmware Update v1.67, this weekend PlayStation Vita hacker wololo has announced news of a new Hello World on PS Vita 1.67 alongside details of a VHBL update with a demonstration video below.

To quote: Hope you didn’t wait too long since our last VHBL release a bit more than 2 weeks ago… This is a new PSP user mode exploit by thecobra (also discovered a while ago by WosRet), which I confirmed runs on a PS Vita with Firmware 1.67. Unlike Motorstorm and Everybody’s Tennis, this game is available in the US store as well as some other countries (details to come). Check the video and details below.

Thecobra already ported VHBL to this exploit, and we already have something running, that just needs a few tweaks here and there before being released. So far I didn’t see anything that would prevent HBL from running on Vita 1.67, but that will need to be fully confirmed in the days to come.

The name of the exploited game is obviously kept a secret until the public announcement, and if you don’t want to miss the release, remember that history repeats itself. Sony will most likely remove the game within hours following the announcement, so stay tuned.

Congrats and thanks to thecobra!

Update: Below is another brief video update (via to quote:

Hey everyone, quickly showcasing the work in progress for VHBL’s port to thecobra’s exploit. To be honest, thecobra’s really done most of the work here, and I merely tweaked it to clean up the code, before compiling and giving it a try.

On the video below, I’m playing doom (again? I should be a bit more creative...) on PS Vita firmware 1.67.

The release should happen soon, although please keep in mind that I also have a real life to deal with in addition to this release, so please be patient while we’re getting ready.

properBo's Avatar the "ninja releases" are announced there, I got SC3 on Friday morning PST when it was announced. only once the VBHL files are released and multiple crashes are logged on the PSN side does the game get taken down, I do believe.

Wait a minute.. Download this mediafire ? That mean I can use it on PSvista and run HBL ? I thought you have to download it straight from PSN for it to work. I am confused.

It's pointless. People send a message to wololo. He confirms. People start to download it spreading "Hey works". 5 minutes later PSN doens't has anymore this game, we cannot download and use it anymore. He blames people for spread news. WTF?

Congrats for discover this method, nice to see it works, whew. Pfff

There is no real forum, it's just when people find them they send a message to wololo to confirm.

I think they're trying to expose more and more games, thus forcing Sony to remove them from PSN, causing a stir among people that want the game. Sometimes bad publicly can lead to better outcomes (this is just a theory though).

Maybe i miss something, but what's the point about reading news of a game who allow this exploit, when the game is no more available on PSN, so we cannot apply this method? Just to say congrats to who found the new game for this exploit? Wow cool, thanks, pfff

If it's a secret society if you want to know the new exploited game, or Sony will remove the game, what's the point on it? Is it just for an elite group? Explain me how this stuff works, because i find all of this quite pathetic.

Over all, i want to know the forum's name where new games are found.
