Here is another update for those who use Prometheus PSP Custom Firmware, it allows running iSOs (MGS Peace Walker UMD also works) without any modules, plug-ins, etc. for 6.20 FW games.

Note: If you have 5.50 GEN-D3 installed it may not be able to read the original SAVE files. Peagasus.prx used in this mod is a peagasus.prx from 5.50 gen-d3 so if your savefile from games like naruto, modnation, and khbbs it save through d2 it will not work with this mod.

Here is how to make savegames work: Copy the peagasus.prx from my gen-d2 and overwrite the one in flash0 in kd folder.

1. Please update the system to 5.50GEN-D3, is already 5.50GEN-D3 system, you can skip this step.
2. Decompress after downloading this file will 550_Prometheus folder, put the memory card PSP \ GAME folder
3. The PSP running 5.50 Prometheus
4. Into the installation screen, press X
5. Installation, press X key to start the system
6. Check system version, when the version is displayed as 550 Prometheus, it said that the installation is complete

Also, Prometheus v0.5 was released which is a module that enables 6.20-required games on CFW 5.XX. This isn't a simple CFW add-on; you gotta run with this: dump, decrypt, patch, and rebuild though.

Here's what new:

* Repair may be in conflict with CFW 5.XX Prometheus problems
* Optimize application performance and size
* Add KHBBS_ENCRYPTED bulk CD Prometheus module, if you do not want to replace BBS1/2/3.DAT, you can use / KHBBS_ENCRYPTED / EBOOT.BIN and / KHBBS_ENCRYPTED / prometheus.prx. But the cost will be read the disk slows down.

iquidzigong's Prometheus enables 6.20-required games to be played on 5.00 M33 or 5.XX GEN custom firmware.

1. Create an ISO of whatever 6.20-required game.
2. Open that ISO in WQSG_UMD and browse to PSP_GAME/SYSDIR.
3. Extract EBOOT.BIN to a temporary folder.
4. Use PRXDecrypter to decrypt the extracted EBOOT.BIN file and rename it to EBOOT.OLD.
5. Extract the Prometheus RAR archive so you have prometheus.prx and a new EBOOT.BIN.
6. In WQSG_UMD drag ‘n drop the EBOOT.OLD, EBOOT.BIN and prometheus.prx files back to PSP_GAME/SYSDIR. See above screenshot.
7. Copy the ISO to your memory stick and try it out.

I remember months ago Team GEN said they have already made a 620GEN so where is it?

Did they lie? It looks like it or we would have it by now.

5.50 Prometheus works fine for me. The newer and older games works fine and save works with no problem at all. Good job!

Just tested this myself. The cfw does work on some newer games, however, you still have to use work arounds for some games.

i.e. Persona: you still need to use the Sony NP9660 driver to get it to work properly.

Other than that, works great!

Both files combined are still less then 1 mb.

I can confirm 5.50 Prometheus works fine. I tested it with Ultimate Ninja Heroes 3.

It's because 6.20 is a much harder nut to crack than previous OFWs and may be impossible to create a CFW version from. Its much easier to simply update older, proven stable CFW versions to play newer games.
