It's strange that the 16GB sticks will be so expensive. ($300 - WOW!!!)

I usually see prices drop on the smaller capacity memory devices when a larger one gets released, but with the 16GB units being more than triple the price of the 8GB units... who knows.

300$ is still a bit too expensive to me, I'll stick to the 8GB version.

Theres was once a rule stated for electronics. Only the human imagination can limit the advancement of electronics & technology. Meaning this, way back when computers first started it was discovered that the virtual size of things would actually continue to double every so many years, while the physical size needed to house that same virtual would also get smaller. Imagine one day our memory card will be nothing more than a dot.

Good luck finding lost memory cards. Im still waiting on x-ray glass, although the radiation next to my head kinda worries me.

Not sure about that, they released new firmware to support 8gb ages ago.

correct! The newer firmwares handle more memcard space than the older ones though nobody knows how much the PSP's memcard controller can handle...
