August 25, 2010 // 11:02 pm - We posted up some PS JailBreak videos from DynaModz yesterday, and today another Dutch site known as Consolewinkel.nl has shared a new PS JailBreak PS3 modchip video.

According to some of the captions in the video, Consolewinkel feels end-users should wait for a free version of the PS3 USB modchip as the PS JailBreak is overpriced.

To quote: "The Ps3 mounts the dvddrive with a backuped ISO file. Because of this the Ps3 still needs a disk to start the game.

Just want and get it for free ! We think Jailbreak software must be free just like the psp/wii and xbox software."

Those interested can check out the PS JailBreak video below courtesy of ombouwwinkel via YouTube!

In the video he signs into PSN as when he boots up the PS3 it says Signed In as usual.

I mentioned this in another post already, but I'm curious if the solution might not be simpler, and if there's a way we could mod a Sixaxis to act like the Jailbreak upon USB connection with the system.

Possibly having a simple, solderable mod chip package added directly to a Sixaxis.

I was just thinking about that. The PS3 could be the next Xbox Media Center. It can already decode a bunch of codecs, has 1080p and 7.1 PCM output.

Wow, something to make my psp worthwhile again.

As long as the PC sees it in any way, it's good

So if they re gonna release a PC driver for it, there shouldn't be a problem to read whats in it after.

What they really meant to say is, "Please wait for a free version, that we can ourselves steal, repackage and charge you out the rear for as a "premodded" solution. kthxbai!"

In Dutch, of course. Not sure how kthxbai translates in Dutch.

And later he calls it a dvd drive, then later again he says UMD. Not once did he call it a blu-ray drive. I'd rather not let someone mod my console when they don't even know such basic things about the console's hardware.

They also have a lot of different site for one company:

consolewinkel.nl
ombouwwinkel.nl
ombouwshop.nl
ombouwnederland.nl

And there are a lot of complaints about that last one: http://www.checkwebwinkel.nl/Webwinkels/Games-en-Console/Ombouwnederland.html

its in dutch but you can see my point.
