April 27, 2010 // 5:09 pm - Today the well-known console modder Ben Heck has shared a video of his latest creation, namely a new PS3 Slim laptop demo!

To quote: "Making a PS3 laptop really wasn't an "uncharted" course for me.

Here it is, a new PS3 Slim laptop and this time it's black! With blue accents. Specs:

• 17″ widescreen 720p HDMI display.
• Built-in stereo speakers & headphone jack.
• Compartment to store power cord. (left side bottom of unit)
• Stylish pin striping to make games run at blast processing!
• More air holes than a stock Slim, not that it really needs them (cough cough Xbox 360)

You can check out more pictures and video below. Remember, if you have a crazy idea and the money, I can make the time!"

Mini jack output is actually quite easy i have some wires spliced out of my audio and video so i can run off headphones or speakers... but i have to unplug my audio jacks in the back of my reciever to get it to just output thought the headphones...

cool mod, i still remember his first one he made when the slims first came out like the color of this one better thought fits playstation better.

I guess he used the audio curcuits from the LCD monitor fo feed audio to built in speakers and also to audio jack.

Add keyboard and touch pad and it woudl be TOP notch

And to the person asking if it runs on batteries - sure - get a couple of car batteries... This "baby" will take around 220 - 250W so you can forget it will run on (built in) battery
