January 29, 2012 // 10:45 pm - Following up on the Sony PS3 Full 3.60 SDK leak from last year, this weekend El Nomeo has made available a PS3 3.70 SDK and PhyreEngine leak for both collectors and other PlayStation 3 developers.

I've always wanted to give something back to the community and here it is. Hopefully someone will figure out a way of having this usable with PSL1GHT.

Install it by running the PhyreInstaller.exe, then when its done go to C:/PhyreEngine3006/Tools and run PhyreLevelEditor.exe. Navigate the viewport using the mouse wheel to zoom in and out, hold alt key and click the left mouse button to rotate.

Change the viewport by selecting the X Y Z values in the top left. To load a samples navigate to Media and select one in there.

Also for those who like tearing apart self files the levels generate their self files in the Tools folder.

Make sure you follow the PhyreEngine_Getting_Started_e.pdf, in the Docs folder. Then you can run the samples on your PC. Controls in the samples are:

  • Forward: A
  • Backwards: Z
  • Turn Left: O
  • Turn right: P

Sure you can find the rest when your running it.

I've discovered how easy it is to import and drag into map, try http://www.turbosquid.com/Search/3D-Models/free/dae for more .dae models, looks like they may need physics.

Well - at least based on past experiences, perhaps. Namely, it depends what (if any) libraries you include. For instance, at times items made on 1.60 would work fine on 1.00, however stuff from 2.00 would not - depending on what it included. It really depends on what's included - hate to be indecisive, but it's hard to know!

Hi all, I have a question.

if I use SDK3.60 to develop a program can it run on 3.55CFW? or is it only run on 3.60 OFW?

No - namely since you don't have the keys for the 3.60 game eboots, so you can not open the original eboot to start unfortunately.

Sorry for posting in a somewhat old topic, but with this SDK, wouldn't you be able to open 3.60FW game eboots?

If so, shouldn't it be possible to edit the Eboot.bin (or wherever the FW requirement is) to have or accept lower keys such as 3.55?

But once you have extracted the RAR files, you can delete the 92 Files.

Yeah I don't know how you have managed 13GB??

Total = 8.74GB

But once you have extracted the RAR files, you can delete the 92 Files.

number one thing is you will get some error message when you use this app ok there will be a couple of documents will not be loaded or can be use.

I cannot install the files under \SDK3.60\Extras by PS3SdkInstaller.exe.

How to install those files by PS3SdkInstaller.exe?
