January 29, 2012 // 10:45 pm - Following up on the Sony PS3 Full 3.60 SDK leak from last year, this weekend El Nomeo has made available a PS3 3.70 SDK and PhyreEngine leak for both collectors and other PlayStation 3 developers.

I've always wanted to give something back to the community and here it is. Hopefully someone will figure out a way of having this usable with PSL1GHT.

Install it by running the PhyreInstaller.exe, then when its done go to C:/PhyreEngine3006/Tools and run PhyreLevelEditor.exe. Navigate the viewport using the mouse wheel to zoom in and out, hold alt key and click the left mouse button to rotate.

Change the viewport by selecting the X Y Z values in the top left. To load a samples navigate to Media and select one in there.

Also for those who like tearing apart self files the levels generate their self files in the Tools folder.

Make sure you follow the PhyreEngine_Getting_Started_e.pdf, in the Docs folder. Then you can run the samples on your PC. Controls in the samples are:

  • Forward: A
  • Backwards: Z
  • Turn Left: O
  • Turn right: P

Sure you can find the rest when your running it.

I've discovered how easy it is to import and drag into map, try for more .dae models, looks like they may need physics.

i have compile the cipher project in the sdk, in the libsecure.

after compile two files show
cypher.ppu.elf (decryptet)

ran spu-lv2-readelf.exe from the sdk and got this output.

what does the magic means ??

Maybe those microsoft dll's refer to SHA-1 encryption used in ps3gen?

I really doubt we would see app public keys there, like I said, it's just for masterdisc encryption, decrypting selfs signed with app-priv is impossible on this program

about the key be in ps3gen.. if i open genelib.dll or ps3gen.exe in PE explorer i see there are alot of other files (dll)

just don't know why they use microsoft crypto.

no expert on dll files etc, so can't say if there would be anything there or not.

sorry , i don't really get to read the entire SDK, and i just wonder the ps3bin has an option -b2e , which convert a binary to elf.

i have tried it to a retail eboot.bin , and it generate another elf , but the content doesn't seem to be "decrypted" (but it is different under Hex view)

second is the ps3gen, i don't get it, if it is the finally authoring process, which encrypt the eboot.elf (or other sprx ...) to the eboot.bin ? if yes , then the key must be inside ps3gen ?

anyway , i try to read more from now.

Can you reproduce in details what you've done so far?

Also, ps3sys seems like SFO creation utility, maybe you mean ps3gen?

i think the trick is to first ps3sys.exe before ps3gen.exe

here i have tried with portal 2.and set it back to sdk 3.50

still dosen't run in CFW but think i'm an little closer.
