November 4, 2011 // 7:52 pm - Today Mysis has released a Remote Play Loader Runtime Patcher application for PlayStation 3, which allows users to connect their PS3 system to a Windows 7 PC even if it isn't a Sony Vaio computer to run Remote Play enabled games.

Download: Remote Play Loader Runtime Patcher for PS3 v1.0.2.06210 / Remote Play Loader Runtime Patcher for PS3 v1.0.1.15070 / Sony Remote Play App v1.0.2.06210 / Sony Remote Play App v1.1.0.15070 / PS3SFOEDIT v0.8 for Windows / PS3SFOEDIT v1 for Linux

Previously, several patches for Sony PS3 Remote Play and Remote Keyboard Software were released and a Guide for PS3 / PSP Remote Play on Non-Remote Play Games was also made available for those interested.

From the ReadMe file: Remote Play with PlayStation 3 (C) Sony - runtime patcher.

This loader runtime patches the Remote Play with PlayStation 3 Software to work on NON-Vaio Windows 7 installations. Created on: Windows 7 64Bit Sp1.

Well - technically - there an USB cable needed to pair the PSP initially but after that indeed it all goes without any cables.

Thats NOT remote play. Thats just TV out.

Remote Play is playing PS3 games on your PSP. There is no cable needed as its done over wifi.

What you're referring to as "remote play" isn't such. That's just hooking the a/v cable for psp slim and newer models up to a tv to play on the tv. Remote play is using the psp as your tv AND controller.

WTF? The "cord" is the same for phat and slim PSPs. Its just a normal USB cable. I'm guessing you have never done it and dont know what your talking about. How about you actually get a PSP and try it then after you've tried it you come back and reply.

And whats the difference between this patch and the one released a year ago when Remote Play for PC first came out? I think this is just really old and someone said its new but its not.
