215w ago - Today the official FckPSN v0.6 is released which now hides your PS3 console ID.

Download: FckPSN v0.6 for PS3 / GIT

Please do not use the unofficial one that some bad guys released broken some days ago. That version does not send console ID on PSN servers when you connect, so you are quite anonymous! Please do not download that version that is not official and it does not work.

FckPSN is a simple SSL proxy, used to spoof your PSN version and re-enable PSN access for your console.

Prerequisites

  • CA27.cer, dev_blind.pkg, fckPsn-v0.6.exe
  • OpenPS3FTP v1.3 or later

ChangeLog:

v0.6: Use an empty consoleid. Warning: be sure to get my 0.6 version

Installation:

1. Install dev_blind.pkg and OpenPS3FTP on your PS3 (using FTP, external USB or what else)
2. Launch dev_blind and make it mount the flash
3. Open OpenPS3FTP
4. Connect via FTP to PS3 (using username root and password openbox)
5. Go to /dev_blind/data/cert
6. Rename CA27.cer to CA27.cer.bak
7. Put my CA27.cer as /dev_blind/data/cert/CA27.cer
8. Set the PS3’s PRIMARY and SECONDARY DNS server to your PC’s IP address
9. Reboot your PS3
10. Start fckPsn-v0.6.exe
11. Enjoy with PSN

Warnings

If you have followed the OLD guide you need to rename the original CA27.cer to CA27.cer.bak and (my) CA24.cer to CA27.cer and you have to restore the old CA24.cer, by renaming CA24.cer.bak to CA24.cer. This is needed since some games use the original CA24.cer. If you lost original cert, you can get it below.

FAQs

Q: fckPSN does not start or prints “Address already in use” as error.
A: Close anything that is using port 80 or 443, try also to close skype and to disable ICS if you are using it.

I used the ruby trick. It didn't work.

I took out the dongle. Did the trick again. It didn't work. I noticed on all the stuff happening that fckpsn always had an ipv4 value different from my ip obtained with ipconfig and put as primary DNS.

Changed that value in the ps3 to match it. Tried to synch my trophies. Synch started after 30 seconds or more

Thanks a lot to whoever coded this stuff. I don't play online but every once in a while I like to synch my hard earned trophies.

#kinpoop Okay to answer your questions these apps have been around all along with the 3.55 CFW scene, and what I mean by that is when Sony came out with the later firmwares (3.56,3.60,3.66,4.x) there was a a release of a method of fckpsn but before that there was a release of PS3DNS these programs that is a portion of getting you online is exactly alike now this release of fckpsn/PS3DNS has opened a doorway to the PS3 because these programs mess with parameters that communicate between the PS3 and PSN.

now to answer your next question these programs have been ongoing since this exploit has been made available and all that really has changed is the CER files that keep being updated on future firmware that has been released you see they have added additional parameters (passphrase, etc) to stop 3.55 CFW users from getting online but this is the only measure to stop online access from sony and this more or a less has to do with networking and the ps3 is very limited on what can be done to stop these exploits from happening.

I would say with everything that has just recently been going on there really isn't a fix sony can do because no matter how many times they update there firmware on the ps3 this hack can be exploited over and over and over because other than modifying the CA27.cer file there isn't really anything more your modifying to the PS3 this is so a networking hack/exploit that I knew wasn't going to go away because of some different networking techniques that sony did the ps3 is old hardware if that makes any sense and the only way for them to recover is to release a new console (PS4)

just to let everyone know on the 80710A06 error what I did was use the Ca27.cer file from the fckpsn 0.9c version to fix this problem also if you messed with the ca24.cer go ahead and reload your 3.55 CFW (install 3.55 CFW over current 3.55 firmware) to fix the issue with the 80710A06 error

I forgot to mention that if you have backed up your ca24/27.cer file replace them using dev_blind and once you know your on the original cer files then proceed to update your update the cer file with the 1 provided to you in the fckpsn 0.9c version

I also noticed some resolve dns white writing in my ruby, I don't see that in the example lol
