- THIS ALLOWS PSN ACCESS - USE AT YOUR OWN RISK - FOR REBUG 4.21.x AND REBUG 4.30.x ONLY - YOU MUST BE IN REBUG MODE TO ACCESS PSN
This will update REBUG's version spoof files to 4.41 and allow connection to PSN.
UPDATER WILL PERFORM THE FOLLOWING TASKS
Update the current version spoof files to 4.41 with PSN access
1: Install Rebug_Update_Package.pkg file from XMB
2: Run Rebug Update Package from the [Games] menu
3: Follow the on screen prompts
4: PS3 will reboot if needed when finished
NOTE: Once the PS3 has rebooted you can delete Rebug Update Package from your XMB as it is not needed.
NOTE: Please do not email us about game compatibility. Some may just require a simple PARAM.SFO edit to get past the latest game update, others may not work at all because the game NEEDS the newer files.
: Hey, under Package Manager>Install Package Files> The internal hdd location doesn't have a title.
I figured out that's because it's omitted in install_package_files.xml because its broken by extra unnecessary code
open that xml, search for this or just use my fixed file:

PS: To be technical it should read PS3(TM) Hard Disk but instead I put Internal Hard Drive because to be honest I was in a hurry and didn't care, so change it to that if you want.
: Here's the ready-made XML files, including a multiMAN-self-writable ZIP, yes a self-writable ZIP file that automates the process, and it has been properly edited:

: Done, i rewritten the readme.txt and added a changelog, i never pretended to mantain this, is mostlly a final version or a community project but here there is a v0.2.

Is the same package manager used in all classic rebug firmwares, the most notable differences are that has been unlinked from the custom resources inside rebug explore_plugin_full.rco, and all the custom code has been moved to a separated .xml
The .xml is not dependant of custom resource files so it should be compatible with all PS3 models and all firmwares past and future, the fact that is a separated .xml also improves modularity, management, mantaining, updating, etc...

: Im releasing another version because the new rebug package manager classic (XMBML REBUG 470.zip
) im including in this version is the same i included in this other message some minutes ago.
The purpose of this build of "rebug package manager classic" was to be included in rebug officially but never happened, and i think is good to include it here just for completion, the reason why im including it here is because are very related, actually the "classic" version im uploading now was the base used to create the "standalone" version.
Completion release, by sandungas
Added "rebug package manager classic". This version is ONLY compatible with rebug firmwares (is dependant of rebug custom .rco's), and uses the original rebug code splitted in a separated .xml
