100w ago - Following up on PS3 4.40 CFW and the PS3 v3.1.0 Core Update, today Spanish PlayStation 3 developer MiralaTijera has updated his PS3 4.40 CFW to include a ReActPSN RIF license bypass which allows users to run all PS3 DLC, PS1, PS2 Classic and PSN content that previously required RIF files without ReActPSN now.

This does have some good stuff but the need to use a USB is something we are really not interested in.. We have played around with it before we released the first REX but decided against it and instead to try to achieve the same results without the need for it.

No DEX yet but having a look at the current released 4.40 cfw's we decided to add a new member to REBUG family.. LITE EDITION.

From haz367: Not the fasted way to mount but at least it works smooth, made a typo earlier about "lv2kernel" and TargetID" reporting DEX after loading "lv2ker.self" ofcourse it's only Lv2kernel = DEX and TargetID = CEX, one could flash the c2d converted dexflash.bin using the "flash" FLAG but that's a bit silly cuse there's a 4.30DEX p/p anyway.. anotherlv2 FLAG/lv2ker.self - stream game from PC test, nvm the crappy phonevideo.


Finally, from Joonie: I have been trying to port this MLT's unfinished rif bypass patches into REBUG CFWs.

For some reason, so far only c00 type unlockable demo pkgs work, tested on REBUG 4.41.3 / REBUG 4.46.1 REX. Have anyone really tested this?

I also ported this patches to REBUG 4.46, and it seems working as the same as my first port [4.41], so far, I have got the same result.

TMNT works, Street Fighter HD gives 80010009 error. I'm going to try Virtua Fighter 5 soon. Again, I removed my act.dat, and there is no rif has been activated.

The reason why I chose REBUG REX for testing, is because it's easy to swap VSH, since all REBUG REX include 3 VSH files.

I can easily see the immediate differences between normal VSH and patched VSH with MLT's patches.

My PSN games are working fine but DLCs are not.. I tried with GTA IV and the game didn't find the DLCs. I'm going to reinstall them now.

And I don't see the BD icon in XMB before running a backup manager (multiman), is this normal?

Edit: my PSN games don't ask to be activated but they don't boot with error 90010009.

This seems awesome, and getting better all the time! Anyone have otherOS++ working on this? I may finally try otherOS now that this simplifies the process so much. The holy grail for me would be getting YDL 6 running on cfw 4.31, but don't think anyone has accomplished that. Guess i'll try red ribbon. After installing this MT cfw, I should be able to downgrade back to 3.15 ofw anytime through recovery mode with no problem, correct?

so this means i dont need no more react psn??? i really hope this works and rogero will add the reactpsn bypass in his cfw!!

i'm only waiting on a solution to play more then one ps2 isos and to start roms direct from xmb... if these features are working... i'm ready to update... and i also will make a new mod then...

can anybody tell me how to convert more then one ps2 iso? or how do i create a new rap file for every new pkg?

i'm really glad we don't need multiman anymore

psn acccess with banned consoles??

honestly i hate cheater more than you, i don't even use cheats when i play offline, the only reason i got banned is because i am running cfw on my ps3, and before the damn 4.40 released i could somehow go online with by using rebug toolbox, but now that secret door is gone sony!!!
