April 7, 2013 // 7:54 pm - Following up on their previous updates, PlayStation 3 developers Estwald and D_Skywalk (with help from Miralatijera) have updated the PS3 backup game manager known as Iris Manager to version 2.30 with the changes outlined below.

Download: Iris Manager v2.30 for v4.XX PS3 CFW / Iris Manager v2.30 for v4.XX PS3 CFW (Mirror) / Iris Manager v2.30 (Animated Icon) / GIT

Iris Manager v2.30 Changelog, roughly translated:

  • Fixed problems with recent CFW 4.40 (/ APP_HOME on Rogero v1.03)
  • Added some cosmetic changes to the GUI and full UTF8 support (now support Arabic characters, Japanese, Chinese, Russian, Greek, Korean, etc. using system fonts)
  • An example of using these fonts you can see it by pressing START on the main screen to enter the "Global Settings" and then pressing SELECT there.
  • The default Iris Manager uses 4 internal sources, which will function if used in the representation of the character located or not.
  • In that sense, it provides the ability to add a custom source, adding "font.ttf" folder Iris IMANAGER4 Manager installation, which will replace the main source used.

It works with REX 4.65 and IRISMAN. You need to enable BD-MIRROR.

Following up on IrisMAN v3.32 and WebMAN Mod v1.30.35, today PlayStation 3 developer Aldo Vargas (aka Aldostools) made available IrisMAN PS3 Backup Game Manager v3.33 alongside WebMAN Mod v1.31.00 Multi 23 which add 4.66 PS3 Firmware support and 4.66 PS3 Spoofing followed by v1.31.01 Multi 23 with the changes outlined below.

  • Added detection of cfw 4.66
  • Updated allowed firmware version in game fix (iso and jb folders)
  • Updated version/revision in fw version spoofer (cobra only)
  • Removed some lv2 patches formerly enabled by default on cfw 4.65-4.66 (suggested by Joonie) (the old patches can be enabled via settings.ini)

Finally, in related PS3 homebrew news PlayStation 3 developer Joonie made available a WebMAN 1.31.00 Test updater (linked above) with the changes below, as follows:

Test Version

  • Support: CFW Syscall Disable (R2+Triangle)

Update: From aldostools: WebMAN Mod v1.31.01 (Multi 23) Updater PKG Changelog (2014-11-28):

  • Added 4.66 CEX detection in cobra build
  • Addressed bug displaying icons for split ISOs
  • Added option to only delete history (without clean syscalls)
  • Added buffers optimization for MAX/STANDARD memory footprints when some content is not scanned
  • Games now are mounted before display the web response, to allow to display the cached icon
  • Removed "hybrid" version of webMAN MOD for mamba (it partially solves the issue of webMAN for cobra mounting folder games on mamba)
  • Replaced habib's anti-ODE patches with the deank's patches from webMAN 1.31
  • Other internal changes in the structure of the source code.

And this is a new *test* build of mamba payload. It is for 4.65CEX and 4.66CEX.

It can be tested on IRISMAN or PRX+Mamba Loader... This is the source code of mamba (WIP). It adds the opcode SYSCALL8_OPCODE_MAP_PATHS needed to support the function sys_map_path.

The symbol cellFsUtilNewfs_symbol is currently defined only for 4.65 (and other few versions).
