Awesome! Can't wait until I'm able to download and try this out. I haven't really been active in the PlayStation community in a long time but now I've finished school and Summer break is here, I hope to spend many days living on my PS3.

I couldn't make it work. I got error 80010009 with Ferrox 4.75 but then I read in the Ferrox thread that just installing Stealth_Mamba_Loader.pkg with the guide above:

For now launching multiMAN (which would be MMCM) we should be able to start games PS3 (also ISO) thanks to the Payload Mamba, and MM works fine now.

Why there is no multiman version for 4.75? I will never upgrade the CFW again without a matching MM version

Following up on the previous revisions, today Italian PlayStation 3 developer Orion updated their PS3 Game Backup Manager to GameSonic Manager Stealth with the changes detailed below.

Download: Gamesonic Manager Stealth.rar (10.9 MB) / Gamesonic-Manager-master.pkg (With 4.75 CFW CEX Support - 13.71 MB)

To quote, roughly translated: Some thought that I would not have supported the release of stealth Gamesonic Manager, but it is not so, why do not I proceeded to update the Stealth Replacement or Vidzone Replacement is simple:

They were not true app stealth as they continued to save files in the internal HDD and sony Readily could find them, but not anymore.

Thanks to the brilliant idea of the developer haxxxen (you can see here) and mamba autoloader Developer NZV I realized that this new version of stealth start, through a modified version of me payload mamba, voice app_home / PS3_GAME, as did the toolbox of Rogero, and saves all the configuration file on a USB device connected to the PS3 (/ dev_usb000 /) leaving the XMB clean.

CAUTION: This method only works for now on CFW retail (non-Cobra), the Cobra CFW it would take a change in the file stage2.bin which entails considerable risks for me that I have a flasher.

Guide:

  • Copy the folder "Manager" in a FAT32 USB device (The one you use for games goes benessimo)
  • Copy the file in the same device Stealth_Mamba_Loader.pkg
  • Connect the device to the USB port closer to the reader (/ dev_usb000 /)
  • Now install the file from Stealth_Mamba_Loader.pkg Install PKG
  • Start it by holding down X until you hear a beep
  • Upon reboot, uninstall the Mamba Loader
  • Bring the item app_home / PS3_GAME / of your XMB and you will see the item Gamesonic Manager - Stealth
  • Press X and will start Gamesonic Manager ready to install your games

Credits:

  • Team Cobra for the release of the source code patch cobra
  • Estwald for Iris Manager and payloads Mamba
  • Nzv for Mamba Autoloader
  • Haxxxen for the brilliant idea of user patches cobra / payload mamba to mount a directory as qualsisi app_home

Update: PlayStation 3 developer Orion has now made available (via gamesonic.it/forum/plugins-ps3/6926-app_home-ps3_game-app-loader-plugin-orion.html#post28530) an app_home/PS3_GAME App Loader Plugin with details below, roughly translated:

I make a little plugin for cobra CFW that can redirect app_home to any folder. For now the directory is /dev_usb000/Homebrew

To launch the app is required to resign his EBOOT.BIN with these flags (below).

App_home/PS3_GAME App Loader Plugin by Orion

Download: app_loader_plugin.rar (22 KB)

As you know yesterday I released a special version of Gamesonic Manager that making use of a function of payload mamba was initiated through a USB key, the folder of your app_home XMB.

Yesterday I thought I would not be able to bring this function on Cobra CFW but this morning I had a brilliant idea: to create a plugin that would allow this function without changing stage2... and that's what I did.

This form of loading the app does not work on the last CFW Rebug, since he redirection to app_home disabled, and other CFW if you make use of Webman MOD (if you use the normal Webman everything works well), perhaps even Webman MOD uses of app_home.

The app, extracted from their respective PKG, to be launched should be put in a FAT32 USB device, which will then be connected to the door closest to the reader, in a folder called PS3_GAME in turn inside a folder called Homebrew and should have the EBOOT.BIN resigned with these keys:

[Register or Login to view code]

These keys are good for all apps created with the PSDK3V2. Installation is the same as that of all plugins.

I have updated plugin, same link, for a best compatibility with other homebrew!

From haxxxen: i was working further with rogero's payload and made some minor changes to make it more dynamic

I have moved the payload to lower region in lv2 to avoid debug strings to be overwritten. i have patched it beyond peek and poke payload (sc 6-10), which makes it also easier to port to other firmwares. this way only 4 values/offsets have to be modified and updated.

Patches for 4.21 cex/dex done with webman:

Quickport to 4.75 cex (not verified working):

To port it to other fws, you can use following patterns:

[Register or Login to view code]

I have used dev_flash/rebug/packages on webman. This can be changed as well, but the payload has to be updated too.
