Wasn't there just an Proxy available, which you can use without doing something on your Computer, just entering the IP and subnet mask ?

Yep, as usual with the recent PS3 Firmware 3.7 Update users on the previous 3.66 Firmware are currently able to get online again via the old PSN Proxy Bypass Methods.

Of course in a week or so this will go away again, and since most CFW users aren't on 3.66 it doesn't help much.
