November 24, 2007 // 8:00 pm - The UK Community Manager known as UbiRazz at Ubisoft has confirmed that the team are actively working on a game update to resolve the freeze issues that PS3 owners are experiencing with Assassin's Creed. The upcoming update will bolster the stability of the game and will be released ASAP.

To quote: Following our recent statement regarding the freeze issues that some consumers are facing with Assassin's Creed on PlayStation 3, we can confirm that we are actively working on a game update. This update will help improve the stability of the game and will be released as soon as possible. In the meantime thank you for your ongoing feedback and patience.

yeah, i am stuck waiting for this patch... luckily for ubisoft i didn't strangle the gamestop manager like i wanted to... cause he wouldn't give me my money back - cause i'm not a bank and don't loan my money to software companies while they take their time to fix a game they obviously didn't QA thoroughly.

but i guess that is karma at work. Stealing games for free on the internet, then the companies steal your money with crappy games that don't work
