Following Kaz Hirai's keynote address at Tokyo Game Show 2009, Sony revealed that the PSP will be getting a version of PlayStation Home dubbed PlayStation Room.
This newer portable version will let you have blogs, photo albums, and some social networking features like chat, mini-games, and real-time communication.
The upcoming PSPGo will also have 700 launch games when it arrives on October 1st in North America, to quote from Examiner.com (linked above):
"The PSPGo will have a very large library of games available for purchase. Offering 700 downloadable titles when it hits America, the PSPGo will launch with the biggest library of games any system has ever had - meanwhile, Japan will have 400 games available."
Finally, according to JoyStiq.com the PSPGo will be getting a converter (pictured below) since it's not compatible with current PSP accessories such as the PSP camera.
To quote: "With the new Converter Cable Adaptor, PSPgo users will be able to utilize the existing peripherals for PSP, Sony announced at Tokyo Game Show today. Peripherals like the 1Seg Tuner and GPS Receiver will be able to fit in the Go's proprietary Multi use connector."
Essentially the converter cable will wrap around the system, allowing PSPGo owners to plug new devices atop the system.
