[UnAnswered] PSN content transfer to new PS3 w/o PSN help?

I have two PS3's with the same username but no PSN access. On my first (FAT) one I have dev_hdd0/home/00000001/ On my new, used (SLIM), PS3 there is dev_hdd0/home/00000003/

When I rename it and boot up again there are two. The 00000001 and the 00000003. My bought PSN content from the 00000001 I want to activate on the new PS3. Is there a way to get the 00000003 user out of the second PS3 and can I activate the PSN content I copied in it from the first PS3? I want to use the both PS3's in the same house. Hope someone still gets it!

I don't use PSN, so I am only going on what know from others, but I am pretty sure that all that DLC will require online activation so I doubt that you can make it work. As for the extra user, just delete it from the Users category in the XMB.

Thanks, I was affraid that would be the answer.

The user I deleted already but the XMB still remebers the old user configuration files directory and therefor shows user 0000003 instead of 00000001.

So probably there were already two other accounts activated on this used XMB. I was wondering if you get those files from the XMB and work with the 00000001 again.

I'm sure it's more complex than just altering the user ID number. It most likely has some key associated with it. Check out this thread, it may help you but at first glance it looks like it only applies to the same console not transferring: http://www.ps4news.com/forums/ps3-ha...nt-118039.html

If you want to get back to UserID 00000001 easily you can back up you HD contents and reformat it. There might be a less destructive way but that for sure will work.

It's all about the xRegistry.sys . Try this (http://www.ps4news.com/forums/ps3-ha...tml#post367044) tool and play a bit around, or transfer everything with FTP. If you can play on 1st PS3, you can also play on the 2nd without going on PSN.

Thanks! I have never actually used PSN so I'm a little in the dark on those questions.
