We fools it could also be something with the .sfo . But this are all only speculations. Upload some files from the game like the EBOOT, the SFO or that kind so we can do some tests and see if the files are correct.

Tried this and just boots back to xmb. This is starting to do my head in.

Which other patches like lv1/lv2 you have installed ?

  4. #14
...What games do you have placed on the external? What version of multiman?

old hdd works a treat. gonna format new one again and partition to 1tb and see how that goes.

thanks to you all for your input so far and will get back to you after a little more stuffing around.

First try what oVERSoLDiER has told you. Don't portition your hdd and try this.

ok here's the update. tried partitioning to a 1tb partition fat32. no joy. tried formatting the whole 3tb to fat 32 with 256kb clusters and still no joy. multiman does recognize the drive as it is telling me how much free space is on there but cannot write anything to it at all. tried to create new folder through multiman file manager and still no luck.

thought maybe a dud hdd but it does work on pc. Just wondering if the cluster size is the problem. have the option of 64, 128 or 256kb clusters. i can see this new hdd living at the bottom of the ocean soon.

You didn't have "NTFS support" enabled in multiMAN ?

  9. #19
NTFS support is not enabled mate. like i said old hdd is working a treat. multiman is latest version so no idea. it is strange no doubt. multiman does recognise drive but will not write to it or read from it.

Can you link us to the external you have (or the name/model)? On any site would be nice, just need to see if it has any weird things about it.
