    Unhappy [Answered] Downgrade 3.56 to 3.55 or 3.41 help me?

    hi, ps3 was 3.56, because of an incorrect installation

    3:55 or 3:41 I would like to make it.

    you may have to get an infectus chip to downgrade your firmware.. theres no magic bullet as yet for the general user.

    can a ps3 with firmware greater than 3.41 be dg'd with infectus?

    I would say greater than 3.55 (as there are 2 ways to downgrade 3.55 and below) but yes 3.56 and higher can be downgraded with an infectus (nand/nor flasher) as long a you're handy with a soldering iron: PS3 Firmware 3.6x Downgrade via Infectus, Waninkoko Brick Fix

    it may be a bit beyond the average user. i'd give it a go but not on my brand new back from sony 3.60 fw 60gig ps3 LOL that says it all eh..
