    [Answered] 2TB external drive ps3 support?

    Hi,
    I want to purchase a 2TB external drive to use with my ps3, will it work?

    PS3 recognizes external drives formatted using FAT32 file system. There are tools available to format 2TB drives to FAT32. However, it was never really designed to efficiently manage drives with such huge capacities. That's why Microsoft created NTFS. Btw, 2TB is the limit for FAT32.
