Waninkoko Releases FreeFlash v1.0 and PS3mlib for PS3

Since the arrival of Mount Alejandro, which allows writing to a new dev_flash, Waninkoko has released FreeFlash v1.0 and PS3mlib (PS3 multilib Library) for PS3 homebrew users.

    Download: FreeFlash v1.0 / FreeFlash Source Code / PS3mlib Source Code / FreeFlash GIT / PS3mlib GIT

To quote from his site (linked above): FreeFlash is a PS3 application that creates a new and writable flash device FreeFlash. The original "dev_flash" device is kept to avoid issues.

We do NOT take any responsibilities for the wrong use of this application.

Requires payload with "peek" and "poke" syscalls. No version spoofing.

Finally, for those curious, PS3mlib is a high-level library designed to allow the creation of homebrew applications for the PS3, in a simple way. PS3mlib is developed to work with the SDK PSL1GHT.

Thats nice and also to share source code. Maybe we can use it to write a installer for the cfw and reflect some more folders then dev_dlash.

Nice, let the original dev_flash intact. Thats great ! Thats avoid bricking the console. I would prefer this instead of Alejandro.

I love this app also the fact of where it creates a secondary dev flash in order to make and create your install area...

if DAX and wanin could get together to code it would be great. Get both misfits of the scenes together to give us the tools we really need.

This is great news, and hopefully will allow the CFW to be built into one quick installer rather than needing a number of steps. Getting better every day.
