For those that are having problems getting this program to work you will need to first install the following two programs:
.Net Framework 4
Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package
Thanks for the advice. I have tried installing these, then rebooting then retrying the program with the same results. I have also tried this setup in windows xp mode on 7 and still crashes. Anybody else got any advice?
Getting same error, have also tried sandbox mode etc.. None work under win7
No luck for me either. Win7 64bit
Edit: Got it working. For me it was I was missing the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package.
So this is suppose to work for PICDEM USB such as PIC18F2455?
are these AVRUSB 1.2 boards good boards ? just as good as teensy etc?
I want to know this too, i tried but it doesn't detect this board.
ANY HEX bug fix !!
Maximus has just released a fixed version of the HID 2.0 which fixes an important bug: maxavrusb.blogspot.com/2010/11/any-hex-bug-fix.html
I Succesfully spotted the bug causing the backups not loading after importing it with the new HID Loader 2.0, its due to the nature of the hermes/kakaroto differences. The problem is easily fixed if you replace the files located under "generic" folder, with the ones in this FILE.
Also if you want to re-download the full solution now fixed you can do it HERE. All those having problems with yesterday release, Please post me results on the comments to see if everything ok now.
Here is the HEXTOOL 1.0.1 dedicated converter tool by MAXIMUS via iLLNESS (psx-scene.com/forums/596054-post1.html) in case anyone needs it.
WHAT IT IS?
Its a tool to extract the payload components from an hex file and to paste over another, so teorically is a tool that might help to port any new released payload to another board.
It also work if you want extract .bin payload files for your specific board flasher.
