    Here is a new PS3 homebrew channel accessible directly from news in the PlayStation 3 XMB on Custom Firmware made by me.

    Download: PS3 Homebrew Channel for XMB on CFW

    If you want to install you have to copy this file with FTP software or with comgenie file manager in this folder:


    ok finish! now you have a new icon in the news dir! you can log and download all homebrew directly from PS3

    New PS3 homebrew added every day!

    See all these cool apps coming that still needs the Internet. Makes it hard to keep the PS3 off the Sony radar. I just loved that tune on that video.

    I imagine in order to have the new icon in the news directory (so that it will appear on the PS3 XMB) you will need to install the XML file, otherwise you could go to the URL but it wouldn't be integrated then.

    Looks nice, thanks, its nice that my PS3 is getting worth more everytime with those new features I can add because of the CFW, im loving this

    can someone please explain, i can't get it to show up on my ps3. i created the folder and ftp the file across but it no worky

    Edit: ok i got it to work you need to change the Region code to one that corisponds to your country and you can put it in to any folder

    Ie i had to change this NSXWSV-PN.P3.IT-WHATSNEW00000001

    TO this NSXWSV-PN.P3.GB-WHATSNEW00000001 as i am in the uk
