Woot. Really looking forward to an official release. Must be a difficult task getting videos to work the same way they do in ps3 in showtime also.

Is there a method to install this on an unaltered PS3 with latest firmware updates? I'm only asking because I'd prefer not having to jailbreak my PS3 just to install one homebrew application. However, since streaming media from my computer is not working out at all, whatsoever, I'm willing to do whatever is necessary to get this installed.
After taking a break since his previous update, today PlayStation 3 homebrew developer Redsquirrel87 has updated Showtime PS3 Media Player Repack to version 3.3.356 with the changes detailed below.

I wish i could play around and test it![]()
This is the only thing now that is frequently updated.
Feels good.
Maybe not. Sony have changed something on the new boards the slims. We dont know exactly what they have changed but in case of they also released slim debug con's and some games not playing on fat consoles it could be that both PU's (CPU, GPU) are now a bit faster on some things.
With the release of the slim PS3, everything got smaller and less power was used. That may be a factor.
Thank you very much for your hard work...
I don't think that it has something to do with less power. I remember that some users have confirmed that here slim's have faster boot times. So it's more likely that fat and slim's are diff in speed of one or both PU's. But there is a benchmark tool and we can test it if some one is willing to do so.
