    No the iPod nano 3g isn't supported by Rockbox as far as I know.

    I'm gonna try this, Is the ipod color the only file i need or something else to make this work. With the exeption of rockbox of course.

    am i right in saying rockbox does not support ipod nano 5g ??

    if yes then is there another way at the moment ? or coming in near future?

    Good point. I wondered if it was the mode that rockbox used that was teh problem and if that could be modified.

    Yes, and it will not come anytime soon.

    Stop using the first post's ipod file on anything other than an iPod video. It will only work on that specific target.

    Stop asking about a fuze port, it has a different processor than older iPods and the code would have to be ported, again and again.

    Hey mate, i know that we have to choose either bm, original or hermes. what's the diff between and bm and hermes?

    and also do we have to rename it to anything? as in delete the part where it says hermes, bm, original..

    bm is the original psgroove payload with backup manager v1 support enabled.

    hermes is the newer hermes modded payload with support for backup manager v2 (don't have to have a disc inserted to play backups).
