hello ! can i use the same compiled hex file for AVR-USB-STK as for Teensy1.0 ? (both have AT90usb162)

no, you can't use that hex, because the avr-usb-stk has a clock of 8MHz and the teensy of 16MHz
or try this one:
both are working, the second one is an updated hex that correctly uses the leds on the avr-usb-*-boards.

Couldn't this jailbreak be done using a standard laptop with a USB port? Running certain software?
If someone could sniff the data between the Teensy and the PS3 and then get the laptop to "emulate" the Teensy?
Just a thought?
