Both will work; the second one is more expensive I think.

the first one definitly works, the second one should, too.

you need to adjust the F_CPU parameter in the makefile to 8000000 though, or just use this

Thanks for replying. Yes, the second one is like twice the price. But since I will try to get it through my dad's workplace I don't care that much about price

i Have in hand, my programmer for modems, (i will attach a pic of it). It has the at90usb162, so it is the right chip. I do have dip switches for updated, loading scripts and such, i would like to know if it can be used to pull this off, if it can i would like to test today under some guidance if CJPC has enough time.

i'm not a fool but i would like to test and confirm his patch, not worried if it will fry the board due to compatibility because i can always snag another for 30 bucks so no biggie, If this is possible we will get a confirm today, state in post and ill send email address or messenger name. Would be nice as i just have it here sitting, got curious and looked at the chip on it and it was a winner! Please reply.

Not sure if it has to be usb A A but my programmer is usb A B

Wouldn't it be possible to install some sort preloader (like the wii), so we don't need the USB everytime we start the console.

i think, you just need winavr to make the hex and flash it, like you flash your board normally. should work. how is it named btw ?

in germany nearly anything with the at90usb and atmega32u-chips is sold out
