Ok, here it is:
- Copy progress indicator (number of files, transferred size, elapsed time)
- /dev_usb/ and /dev_bdvd/ game icon caching (PIC1.PNG). No need for hdd-games icons cache, so it saves a bit of space.
- [R1] TEST mode sped-up dramatically
- default options.ini provided as options_default.ini, to keep user options.ini during reinstall
That's it for now.
Had a test but it doesnt seem to backup the games to dev_hdd0/GAMES
# Backup games to these folders:
Also it doenst find games backed up to hdd_dir=/dev_hdd0/GAMES
# Look for game backups recursively in these folders:
# (leave blank for root (/) folder)
(also tried hdd_dir=/dev_hdd0/GAMES)
Copy/Backup times are reduced with 5 to 10% (and more if game has a lot of small files). Testing a backup/game with R1 takes 1 to 5 seconds (compared to 20-120 seconds, especially when testing a game off a USB disk).
I'm not sure if there is anything else to add to this mod, but please post back if you come up with something.
These are correct ones:
Yeah i figured it out already
I dont know where my 3rd backup ended up though lol.
It said it was going to back it up to dev_hdd0//GAMES
Umm... use comgenie's filemanager or FTP to look for it
Also - if you can - please compare backup/copy times between this version and other managers. I observed nice improvement (~1GB per minute from USB HDD to internal hdd).
Hi, Deanrr great job, i like too much your "manager". I have a problem with the ftp server, it set in auto, but i cant connect. Can you give me a solution?
Sorry for my english i´m spanish!
FTP is of no use at the moment (you can manually stop/start it from [HOMEBREW] mode), because it works with current manager's subfolder as root. It has no global access to /dev_hdd0 or /dev_usb.
Make sure that you use the correct IP to connect.
Works perfectly with HermesV2 and the PIC device in patch v2 mode on.
Thanks, i'll try it.
