    nice, now its almost 100% that games with files more than 4GB will work if you will upload them via FTP.

    don't forget, you can always upgrade your PS3 (fat) HDD with any 2.5" SATA HDD and it should be 9.5mm.

    Pardon me but, is there a way to enable network but disable internet on your playstation 3? I just need the network for that, don't want to be connected to the internet because of not having a flatrate now.

    Not sure that you can do it at the PS3. But you should be able to do it in your router/modem settings.

    yea you can, just plug the ps3 in the pc using ethernet wire.

    go to network setting, config the ip address but do specify the default gateway setting

    easy and basic networking.
